I'm trying to do this tutorial but when I get to the part that says "Paint Brush - Brush Types - Custom - Marnie9 - Size 200 click with your Foreground color", I'm lost. When I click on the paintbrush in the tool bar, there is nothing about brush types, etc. I've never worked with brushes before and wonder what I'm doing wrong. I'm using PSP7. Can someone explain, please? TIA!

I haven't used ver 7 but in ver 9 there is a dropdown list where you can see all the brushes you have. Did you put the brush from the zip file in your psp brushes folder? If so it should be in the list. Scroll until you find the Marnie9 brush. Hope this helps. Or maybe someone with 7 will be able to help you better. Deb

Don't have the slightest idea of Marnie9 etc.

I don't mind the table and mirror and can't really think of anything besides art that would fit on that wall. Can't see the table details well but could it be painted? How about red to match your lovely door? What would say "fresh and cozy" to you for that space? Have you thought of a new light fixture? A runner and a larger rug in the entrance could look good. I don't find the clock visible from the door to be welcoming so I'd be tempted to remove it.

I don't, but if you click on the link that says "More Info" below the photo, you'll see which pro posted it on Houzz. You could then message them to ask whether they still have the color/brand on file. I would bet money that the Benjamin Moore store could find you a sage green in their Historic Color palette that is very similar.

IMO you need storage for sure so I would look at adding a buffet on the DR wall and with kids stools are really not practical for eating until they can get on and off a stool by themselves . Get a small round table that has a leaf and IMO when you have money redo the counters so that that peninsula is the same height as the rest of the counters in fact in this case just remove that raised part and then the DR space will be a bit bigger .You could look at Besta from Ikea to put all along that wall on the left it could give you a place for the TV some storage and even a bit of display .

Urlee, Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed it. Marnie9 s the name of the brush. I put it into my brushes folder but it's not showing up.

Well, I closed out PSP and re-opened it and my brush showed up. So now I can complete my tut.
