Jean: I have Win 8.1 and it took me several tries to figure out. I have read recently that they will be making a change to Win 8 and make it more like Win 7 which mirrored closely with XP. If your uploading pics from your Picture folder on your PC this is how I did it. Open Pbucket and click on UPLOAD, then on the next screen in the upper left corner your will see a tab that says "Your Bucket". From the drop down menu, choose where you want to save the files. AFTER you choose where to save the pictures from the drop down menu, click on Choose Photo/Videos tab in the center of the screen. It should open another screen on your hard drive which has a file labeled "LIBRARIES" among other files.The icon looks like a bunch of file folders. Click on "LIBRARIES" and choose the PICTURE folder. Your photos should be viewable and just choose the ones you want to upload and then click on "OPEN" button on the lower right hand side of your screen. It should close and Pbucket should start loading. Just the best way I know to explain how to do it. Julia

I use Irfanview as my default picture viewer on the computer. Easy to edit pics. I generally upload my daylily pics to Flikr and other pics to Shutterfly [I could do them all to one or another]. Both are free and reliable. Shutterfly puts the pics into albums and you can create photo albums that you can buy. Flickr beautifully displays the pics, which you can put into albums if you want. Flikr is my preferred. Brad

Another alternative would be your cell phone. (Use mine to catch shots when regular camera isn't handy.) If you have a cell w/camera, some newer ones in recent years take some pretty decent photos. Just need a cord to attach phone to PC. Hopefully it's standard mini USB connection on the phone, you can pick those up at office supply, Radio Shack, Target, think Walgreens, probably about any place, for $12 or so. (Avoid cellular dealer if possible, they charge a lot more on some accessories.) Upload to your computer and save. Then open a freebie Pbucket account and upload from your computer to Pbucket. If it takes grainy shots, tho (like my DH's cell), I'd use one of methods mentioned above.

I agree p'bucket is a pain to work through. Maybe after my kitchen is done I'll switch over. And your new kitchen is quite amazing! Beautiful cabinets, granite, floors, splash, dogs... The LOP probably helped get you through to this point, but I know you are happy to have your new elements finished! Congratulations! I'm guessing with those gorgeous cherry trees you live somewhere in the southeast, or eastern seaboard? jrueter, so funny about your DH! Now, you don't have any quirks like that, do you? I'm sure I don't! And I always do everything I am constantly telling my kids to do. rhome, with eight kids, I think there wouldn't be enough colors for that kind of a system anyway! But... sigh... it probably is yet another thing I just need to let go of for now. I always say I am going to deal with one thing at a time and end up trying to fix everything at once. I look forward to getting back to normal... if there is such a thing.
