This may have been posted before but I was doing a tut and the plugin that I downloaded from the tut link is a marvel I tell ya lol. It's a remove white plugin and I liked it so much I thought I'd share it with you guys. I will provide the link to the plugin, but you should do the tut on Wompietuts (not sure I could provide the tut link at all here) so that you get the important steps for using the plugin. There are quite a few good tuts on her page the one I'm talking about is close to the bottom.

This would have been so much easier if I could just share the link for the tut, I've rewritten this post 4 times trying to not break any rules lol. Here's her home page ;o)

:( I tried the link and it came up page not found, when I tried to download. Do you remeber the name of the tut? I checked out her page, it says at the bottom that you can link to her tuts. Is that not ok to do here? Deb

We're talking about tea, right? The water temperature to make the tea depends on what type of tea you drink (ie, green, oolong, black, etc.) In general, like Cotehele mentioned, you want barely boiling water to brew your tea. Overheating the water reduces its oxygen content and causes the tea to taste flat. This is the reason that these devices shuts off once reach a near boiling temperature. That is if the device is manufacturer to make/brew tea. It is also a thermo and able to keep the tea warm for a long period of time. An inexpensive way that my family uses for years is we brew tea a bit stronger in a teapot and keep hot water in a thermo on the side. During the day, we pour some tea in the cup and add hot water to it. The combination would make the cup of tea at the right temperature throughout the day. As for choosing a teapot, chose ones that is made from material that retains the heat for long hours. One such is the Yixing teapot. These teapots are made of a special purple clay that only exist in Yixing, China. This special clay retains heat well for hours. My sister had given me a beehouse teapot that I found it retains heat for hours also. Using a tea warmer is effective too.

Not an aboandoned, Konrad..I think the angle I took makes it appear so...Use to be track for pleasure-travelling from Negley to Rogers OH...They shut that part down and is now being used for hauling dump...Everyone here was opposed but were just the little guy who speaks up...Just to be ignored...

I don't know anything about the Glade/DIY scents as I've been using Electric Tart Warmers for several years now and find them not only more cost effective but safer than tart warmers that use a small candle to heat the wax. I also put timers on two of my Electric Tart Warmers. During the winter, with windows closed most of the time, I find if I set the timer to turn on the Electric Tart Warmer a half hour before I wake up, I don't wake up to a musty/closed-up smelling house. I wake up to the scent of Downy Softener....the tart scent I always purchase. I can also purchase the Downy Softener Fragrance Oil ....add a few drops to the already melted tart when it needs refreshing. I purchased a one ounce bottle of Un-cut fragrance oil (Downy Scent) last November and I still have 2/3 of the bottle left.....that's how little one needs to freshen their melted tarts in the Electric Warmer. Last week I received a new type of tart warmer (linked below) and so far, so good! I have one plugged into our master bathroom outlet next to the medicine cabinet and one in the kitchen close to the trash can area. I wouldn't use these close to the floor....in an outlet that can be reached by a furbaby or young child, but where I have them right now, they are completely out of reach by both and do a good job of keeping the closed-up kitchen and bath not smelling musty. With both electric warmers, if I want to change out the wax/soy tart, I just put the little cup with old wax in the freezer for 10 minutes and it pops right out into the trash can. I just wanted to find out a little more about this plugin before I download it...Does it take the white background out of any image or phot that you have, and is it easy to use?

Bev, please forgive me for not getting back sooner, I've had my kids and grandkids here ALL day lol.

I just now loaded a photo and tried it, it takes the white out and also makes the image look like a clear transfer. I used a picture that had a white wall background in it. In my photo you can see where the wall is and the rest of the items, but through all of it you can see the background (you know the gray and white squares?). It really does look like a tee shirt transfer, wonder if it would work for one???

I used it on black and white clip art and it works great for taking out the white and leaving a black outline.

Sorry, forgot to add, it's really easy to use, you just click on the plugin and it removes the white. ;0)
