Tut using PSP X

This was a very simple tut using my new PSPX, presets and existing tools. It is so different from the other PSPs.

I really love it if I can ever get use to it. I don't know how the black crept around the edges, certainly did not plan it that way. Charlene

Really nice Charlene, I love PSPX! As far as I'm concerned they can stop right there. You will get used to it in no time.

Urlee, use the "Free Rotate", it gives you the option of one layer. You can type in the number and enable left or right. If you want it to rotate the image, exactly, the opposite, type in 270.00 (repeat) then use Flip. Terri, I use the Warp tool. What kind of help do you need ? Give me an example. Did you download X or did you buy the boxed version ? The manual has information on the Warp tool on pages 87/88. If you downloaded....click on... Help(top of workspace) Help Topics Index Type 'Warp' Click on 'Images' (under the word Warp) Click: Display (bottom of index)....it will bring up a menu with several choices. I really like PSPX, I don't use any of the other versions. I especially like the DCNR (Digital Camera Nose Removal). Joy

Well, I uninstalled the program & reinstalled it again. Nothing changed, still same problems. Then a couple days later & went to try & figure it out again & the program was working correctly like it used to. Don't know what happened but I am not to thrilled with this version but I have it now so will mess with it once in a while. For now I prefer PSP7 LOL Thanks for the tips. Still haven't managed to download the patches since my dial up connection is so slow. Terri

Gee Rose that was five days ago, my brain is like a sieve hope I remember. I just followed the instructions on the tut. I used PSP X I used the lasso tool and selected the parts I wanted to sparkle then I duplicated the layer twice, selected the top layer (closed off the other two) I just copied merge then opened in AS, went back to PSP closed top layer selected middle one copy merge same as with top into AS last layer the same thing. I like the black edge. It sets off the white.
I have #10 but haven't had much time to do much with it. Too many things going on right now. Life has got to slow down so I can play.

Marilyn, I do like the layer pallette, but wonder when I am doing a very large tut and I have a dozen or more layers what happens? Charlene

I was referring to seeing the images.

You would just have a dozen or more layers showing what is on each one.
You mean of them showing up? You would have to scroll.
