Gray Paint with Green Undertones?

Does anyone have suggestions, preferably BM paints, for a medium gray green color, more gray than green? I'm currently looking at BM Gray Horizon and BM Gray Horse (but for the life of me can't tell the difference between them--anyone with a good eye)? This is for my kitchen. Cabinets are an off-white; soapstone countertops with a lot of green in it. The walls are currently a nice sage color--quite green--but for some reason I don't like it. I'm trying to tone down the green part to something a bit more neutral/sophisticated. Any suggestions and photos welcome!

I see big differenes between the Gray Horse and Horizon Gray. Bewtween the 2 Horizon Gray has more green undertone than Gray Horse. Horizon Gray also appears 'airier' to my eye. If you move over one more strip to Gray Mirage you will get another grey-green w/ a bit more green than Horizon Gray and a tad warmer than Horizon Gray.

They all have green undertones but to varying degrees. Starting w/ the least amount of green:

Gray Horse 2140-50
Horizon Gray 2141-50 (airiest and most ethereal of the 3 to me)
Gray Mirage 2142-50.

I'm looking at all 3 colors together so it's easier to pick out the differences instead of viewing them seperately.

Lots of great suggestions here. We were in search of a mid gray, too, and were stunned at how different the same color looked once we painted swatches in our rooms. In our (very bright) North-facing living room, Rockport Gray looked like an icy, pale blue in some lights, and in others lights, it looked like an extremely icy, pale gray. In our (dim) West-facing laundry room, Rockport Gray looks like a warm beige. And in our (dim) South-facing game room, it looks icy gray again. So strange!

I wanted the same grayed down blue-green and also tried many of the same colors samples you did. I agree with Metromom; look for a chip much grayer than you think you want. I settled on BM 1565 Mount Saint Anne. It's from the old color deck, but both BM and SW had a chip for me to look at. It doesn't look like much on the card, but it's really lovely on the wall. I'm trying to find a Medium (not too dark, not too light) Grey exterior paint that doesn't have blue, green or brown undertones. Does one exist ? When it comes to architectural color, there is no such thing as undertones so you need to think about color differently. Every color belongs to a hue family including whites and grays. Here's an example of what that looks like. There's nothing hidden or "under" anything. You don't want blue, green, or brown. That means you should be looking at grays from the yellow to green-yellow hue family. The reason is grays, near neutrals, from this region of the hue family spectrum are most often perceived as being "just gray" with no discernible factor of hue. You are using Dunn-Edwards. Excellent choice. Dunn-Edwards is one of the few paint brands that lists a Munsell hue, value, chroma color notation in its fandeck. Get one of their fandecks. Another example of where to find Dunn-Edwards color notations --- try this, Google "Muslin DE6227 LRV" and you'll see the color notation is included in the meta data. Handy. All you have to do is look for grays with a hue family designation of Y or GY. Here's what that looks like. A gray with a hue family around 5Y or 6Y is a good place to start. Make sure the last number (with the hot pink arrow) is below 1.0 - this is chroma and the lower the chroma the more likely the color of gray will appear "neutral".

I think Repose Gray is Sherwin Williams, but it's possible BM has a shade with the same name. Sherwin Williams has some wonderful grays from which to choose. Recently I had my house's exterior repainted a slightly darker gray than before. I wanted a neutral gray that leaned slightly warm, i.e., no blue please. I didn't want mauve either. Slightly taupe was okay. I was just about sold on SW Requisite Gray until I found Kelly Moore City Tower. KM is only sold on the west coast and I think TX and OK (go figure), but you can have any color mixed at your local paint store of choice. Good luck. I'm in the middle of a search for a medium-toned gray green paint as well. So far my top choices are Gray Horse and Fieldstone(a little darker than Gray Horse).

If you're looking for something lighter, I would suggest Moonshine or, as someone suggested above, Gray Owl. I haven't personally tried Gray Cashmere, but I always hear it described as a gray green and they always mention how pretty it is.

Thanks for these responses! ttodd, you do have a very good eye and this confirms what I "thought" I was seeing in the chips--that Horizon Gray has more green than Gray Horse. I've now got Gray Mirage in the pack, too, as is Winterwood. Moonshine is too light for me, and both Gray Owl and Gray Cashmere seem to move toward bluish rather than greenish undertones. But really they are all starting to blend at this point!

people say that my kitchen stone harbor has green to it, but I dont see it. Gray owl has green to it for sure.

My kitchen has creamy cabinetry and costa esmeralda countertops (which have lots of green). We used BM Coastal Fog, and get a lot of compliments on it.
