Holly-Kay, I love the idea of taking down heavier window treatments to replace with simpler panels----that way you can summer-Ize and update at the same time! With respect to your mosquito problem, do try this product that is available from Amazon. It covers about 100 sq ft, has a pleasant scent and is safe for humans and pets. We have them on our screened porch, bedroom deck, pool deck and patio....no Mosquitos! It's very simple; you receive a five inch or so egg shaped ceramic container that is glazed only on the bottom---- the sides are unglazed pottery. Then you pour in the specified amount of deterrent liquid, also provided, which soaks into and up the sides of the egg. And that's it. Refresh the liquid every two weeks. Are there any slim feet people here? I have to share my new worlds most comfortable sandal from The Flexx shoe company. They have a stretchy section. Love! I'll be able to do lots of miles on vacation. They have a 1 1/2" heel. Here is the link at Nordstrom. It says they fit true to size but if they fit my foot perfectly they must be at least slightly narrow. Is it a heated garage? Did you water it while dormant? Sorry @luis_pr for the delay in replying. The garage is not heated (the coldest I observed inside the garage was -12 C/10 F while it was -22 C/-8 F outside) and the only water it got was from 'clumps' of snow that I would put on it every once and awhile through the winter. So here it was on May 17: And today, about 6 weeks later: I can tell you that it looks lots larger than it actually is, but clearly it is producing flowers (on strictly new wood).
