Yes! Sueb I agree. I'm not such a gift giver but when I see something that would be just so right- a gift is in order! I actually emailed them to ask about ages ... they were responsive but pretty much said pieces are small and not for little kids, which I recognized. I keep thinking that one of my grands would probably love this but I might wait a year or so. I just really think this is such a great product. (not that I've gotten it. yet)

That arched window is IMO no way original. As for window coverings I would do a fixed blackout blind in the arch and simple blackout blinds on the other 2 windows and those can open during the day but in S facing window probably kept closed will control the heat a bit better . The fact is in most cases egress windows a drop down ladder is a min. you need in an attic bedroom and where I had one we needed some kind of stairs on the exterior if no egress windw and ladder could be done . Attics are not living spce so be careful before doing this that all codes are met. I kind of think Lyns idea could be the perfect answer since those drapes could be blackout for sure .

While cleaning the machine the reverse button became detached from the machine and the linking bar seems like a jig saw puzzle to replace where it was located. It is one of those press button types, not the slide up and down levers. The button collar has the stitch length regulator. Has anyone successfully re-installed the linkage?
