I am trying to get rid of the "tuts" I have on my desk getting shoved around, that I have printed out to do.

It is a Swallowtail. I have never seen that before... not where it's just runny like that and that much. I have seen the small trails of it before. All but one of my large swallowtails are ready to pupate, so we'll see what happened when I get home from work. Thanks all. I do have another two small Swallowtail cats that haven't moved off their leaves in days. I took them inside last night since we're having cold nights thinking this may help, but I think one may be a goner before too long. The other did climb to another branch. I guess we win some, lose some. This is my first full year of rearing, so it's all new experiences.

I've moved a lot with cats. Most of them have been very clingy for a couple of months after each move. I just give them all the time and attention I can. They usually adjust to the new surroundings. But also check to see if there is something in the new environment that is causing stress. One apartment I had was right by some railroad tracks. When the train came through that first day--oh, the poor cats were terrified. They ran and hid in the closet. But in a couple of weeks, one of them ventured out and peeked out the window at the loud, scarey monster, and within two months, they didn't even twitch a whisker when the train came by. So there might be a noise or vibration somewhere that is causing your cat some stress.

Many years ago a cat of mine was acting up and off her food. Took her to the vet who found a needle and thread lodged in her throat. We were always careful with stuff like that and had no needles & threads missing, but many cats have more than one home. I remember seeing in the paper a few years ago a court case between two families, both of whom claimed this particular cat was theirs. He was spending the days at one house and nights at the other.

Thanks for the ideas. I ended up going to Pet Smart which WAS open - thank goodness someone thinks of animals on holidays! A gal from "Blue" was there and talked me into trying her brand of dry food. They ate a few bites. Since one of the 4 kitties has very soft stools that are very smelly, I once again read up on what's best to feed our beloved kitties. The first two sites I looked at went into all the benefits of wet food over dry. So when my store opened today I came home with a can of EVO wet food - one kitty really liked it, 2 had a few tastes and the last hasn't tried it. I did start with a tablespoon. Who would have ever thought there was so much to read and try to comprehend about cat food!! I had two kitties for 18 years that were very healthy on a diet of only IAMS dry food. I know IAMS is no longer recommended. Thanks again for your notes and thank goodness for GardenWeb - I don't know what I'd do without everyone here!! Ginny

Great job Urlee, looks very 3d.
If ya could I could use some help on this one. I use ver 9. Got to the part where you use the m wand to click on the rectangle layer, expand, the go to the background layer and hit the delete key. When I do this, my whole background pic disappears and I am left with just the promoted selection, the frame and a blank. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Did you move your promoted layer to the top in the layer palette. Then click on the layer (middle, raster1) under that before you clicked with the magic wand?

Thanks for your help Urlee. Problem was I was clicking inside the rectangle instead of outside. It was too late and I was just too tired. Love this, thanks for sharing.
