At the end of October 2006 DH & I bought Bosch Nexxt 500 washer & got the last year model gas dryer (one w/o the viewing window in door) for 275$. It was a return at Lowes - no repairs were needed (our Lowes marks on appliances reason for return & repairs done along with new price) as person opted not to use gas. We love gas dryers & this one has performed like a champ as I have washed & dried EVERYTHING excluding the cats (put consider putting them in for a quick spin when they come & harass me in the laundry room). The dryer does not sizzle things when set to dry based on moisture vs. time. Sometimes the center of a big ball of sheets may be slightly damp when pulled out - I simply toss back in (already having shaken out) & rest - ususally dry within 10 minutes additionally. My queen sized comforter took several reaarangements but I expected that. Did a great job on down comforters as well. I am very pleased with our purchases & would encourage you to consider the matched or almost matched Bosch set - you probably know these can not be stacked - something to keep in mind depending on your laundry room configuration. FTR - I also have had very good experience with my plain little Frigidaire frontloader bought in 2001 -sorry I don't have model - it is the plain one with dials only (Ilike simple). That set we have stacked. The dryer is electric & quite a bit hotter than the Bosch - but the moisture sensor is good (have to watch for high fry on timed loads though).

Your plans are set, but these ideas may be useful for someone else. Deep drawers/cabs less than 12 inches wide are very hard to find a use for. Would be better consolidated into vertical storage unit for trays and cookie sheets. But you can use drawers of this size as bins, esp if they pull out a long way. My bin drawer holds plastic storage stuff--when it's full, I begin tossing. Intentionally designed it to stop hoarding. If you had lots and lots of potholders or something, you could put them in such a drawer also. I wish I could find the original inspiration photo which sadly I did not see until my cabs were planned...but I've tried to describe it many times regarding siting the vertical storage unit next to the lazy susan corner unit. If you make a single door -- possibly jointed--that covers both the one side of the susan access and the adjacent narrow cupboard door, you can cut back the back-to-front interior divider between the vert storage and the lazy susan unit. It doesn't even have to be made of wood--wire would do. This allows you to reach farther back into the crevice behind the lazy susan and to see items located deeper on the susan shelves. If the divider is narrower than a full dividing stile between cabs, it wins you a little more room for the storage unit and/or for stuff to stand on the floor of the corner alongside the susan in the corner unit, like tall skinny bottles.

In a large bowl beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cupcakes 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 4 large eggs, at room temperature 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Icing vanilla buttercream frosting chocolate buttercream frosting Directions To melt the chocolate, place in a double boiler over simmering water on low heat for 5-10 minutes (about; stir occasionally until completely smooth and no pieces remain; remove from heat and let cool 5-15 minutes or until lukewarm.
