Teri that is Soooooo Darling!

That's the second one I can't do cause I don't have eye candy 4000 and the place the tut sends you to has eye candy 5, not 4 + $$$$$$.

Toni, I told you months ago that your plant was a Pandanus, when you posted photos of it. I found one in an artificial pond, probably someone had ditched it because it was getting too big. There were several trunks up to about 5 or 6 metres tall, growing partly in the water. There were a couple of tiny plants right in the water and they were white, I assumed because of lack of light. Took those home and potted them where they grew larger but still white. They were in full sun and later started to go greener. Now they're totally green but still in the pot. Haven't fertilised them but need to put them in the ground, they're getting to that size. On that El Arish Tropical Exotics page it states theirs is a dwarf form of P. veitchii. I think I've got the full sized one. They're reputed to be quite variable and the variegation unstable. Pandanus don't flower conspicuously in the way of a lot of other plants. The flowers are inconspicuous and mostly you only notice the fruits which are large. In low light the plants will become floppy, but in good light they're upright although often support themselves with prop roots. Kept indoors they'd eventually need staking, unless there were enough pups crowded around to hold them up. What do grow viney are the very closely related Freycinetias, sometimes also called Climbing Pandanus.

Struggles growing Lulo/Naranjilla (solanum quitoense)

I tried growing Naranjilla in 2012 in a flat in Hungary. The temperature in the flat varies between 72 and 84 degF depending the season. For some reason my plant kept growing upwards and it was foreseeable that it would hit the ceiling at the height of 8,6 ft. At some point I decided to air layer the main stem to make the plant shorter. At first, I thought that the stem of Naranjilla would develop roots even without a wound on it, just like the stem of a tomato plant. That assumption costed me a month wasted. My second attempt, when I made a wound on 2/3 of the circumference of the stem was successful. The plant had about a month of time for new root development. After cutting the stem below the ball with the roots, the shortened plant looked real bad for a month. The leaves were so saggy that I thought the plant was going to die. I think I should have given more time for the new root development before cutting off the top of the plant. Eventually the shortened plant recovered and continued to grow. To my disappointment the plant grew upwards so fast that the prepararion for the next air layering was due in a short time. I found this to be ridiculous, and did not wish to carry on. My plant kept blossoming for months, but it was unable to set fruit no matter what. I found out that Naranjillas are pollinated by humblebees in their natural habitat. The humblebees vibrate the blossoms for a short time and that helps release the pollen inside the blossom. I made a small device for vibrating the blossoms to no avail. Some time later I got fed up with the situation and discarded the plant.

Hello chuck , I had a rough start like yours to my seedlings. I corrected the problem by putting a heat system under pots a heating blanket; also, I increased my temp in my somewhat enclosed (plastic) cage for my seedlings. I would say the underside heater was at least 80 and my temp inside my enclosure was 85 to 90. this solved my problem hope it helps ya later chuck keep smiling!!!

I did this in PSP8.
Not too bad for inventing? I think I went to textures to get the weave "LOL".

This is beautiful, ladies.

Question though. Using PSP 9, I can't find a heart in the preset shapes (everything else is in there).

Any ideas where I can get a heart?

Buzzard. I'm pretty sure I had to download my heart shape but I can't find where I got it from. Try this link and maybe you'll find it in there. I hope you can find it.

Here is my attempt. I could not find a heart shape, so I attempted to make one out of 2 ellipses and a triangle. Then for whatever reason, I could not get my eraser to work. So, consider this the homemade version among all the beautiful professional ones.

I had trouble with the eraser part too. I think we all did well.

I went to my GOOD OLE PSP7 to follow the path to!
And by golly, they now show up in my PSP8 Preset shapes.
A whole slug of them shapes to use.
