White trim in the bathroom is fine. Again, using my 80 year old previous residence as an example - the two front rooms, living and dining, had oak floors, doors, a built-in buffet, windows and trim including a 10" baseboard. The rear 1st floor rooms had maple floors, cabinets, doors, windows and trim. Upstairs the floors and trim were pine. Outside the wood was all painted the same. Nowadays most people do use all one or the other, stained or painted. But you can do it the way you want. My bathroom door was stained on the outside and painted white on the inside. It worked very well for the space and that house.

Paint the vinyl the color of your wood trim. This is a low price fix. A more expensive choice would be Marvin fiberglass Elevate with interior wood trim. You would stain and finish that. Here. . Now I'm going to suggest something a good carpenter might do. Because your windows aren't opening and are picture the glass could be replaced with insulated units and butyl. This would match your other windows and cost less than vinyl. There are glass companies capable of supplying this. Not window companies. Windows aren't something magic.

I like the molding in the picture because its modern so it goes well so if you want a more traditional look then yes more detail would help with that otherwise I think the simple square ones are good and actually probably easier to clean. I hate shoe molding and in my own home had them put this little flat rectangular molding like a mini version of the the molding in the picture and it looks good and is thick enough to work as a shoe mold
