Based on this, I will plant the three Carolina Sapphire Cypress, well spaced and maybe in a berm, up on a hillside to form a privacy screen from the neighbors. The Picea Orientalis would likely be swallowed by the AZ once it starts growing. Since it doesn't prune well, i think leaving them to their own shape would probably be ebst. Thanks for the added pictures and links to pictures, too! Looks neat with a little snow on it. The feedback from LA (lower Alabama, lol!) and NC is helpful because I am in north Georgia and we get a lot of rain here too. I am thinking that a "berm" with a mix of good draining soil will help, however. Hopefully.

Thanks for posting the pics. The colour looks very similar to The President, which I have. I love the shape of the flowers as well. Will definitely get it now as I have read it is a prolific bloomer. I have 2 sprawlers (rooguchi and inspiration) that I will tie to an obelisk to climb. I have noticed rooguchi will semi-cling so hopefully they will not need much help from me. The 100 series has the hybrid tub--stainless steel top & sides and the bottom is polypropelene. It's not a full stainless steel tub just like the Ascenta isn't a full ss tub.
