Window Treatment for window with Arch
Comments (7)LOL Gosh ajsmama, I thought you really meant to spell it that way! ;^) Those are clamps. And thanks for the complement. Hubby and I came up with the "style" ourselves. A mix of what we both liked. It's clear pine. Our kitchen cabs are Maple in that same wood tone. And I think your wood work is just as wonderful. Our home is a Queen Anne style Victorian Revival, so it called for something like this. If I would have thought about it, I would have said we liked the towel there so much we decided not to go to the expense of towel rods. Hee Hee! Lifes too short not to have fun, isn't it? iknownothingatall, you do know something. You know that how to "not" spell wrought iron. :^D...See MoreWindow treatment for arched / palladian window
Comments (4)That is one fabulous window! We have a similar arrangement but ours is narrower and taller. There is a thin, 1/2 inch black metal rod with simple ball finials at the end (I think it came from Restoration Hardware) that runs across the whole window above the half-circle. From it hang silk curtains, pinch pleat with small black metal rings that slide along the rod. I thought that would look strange but our designer convinced me to try it by showing me photos. Once the treatment was up I had to admit it was better than running the rod at the top of the rectangular windows (just at the base of the half-round). If the curtains had been hung there they would be much shorter and the proportion would have been wrong. As it is, the rod is just at the bottom edge of the crown molding. I wish I could post a photo, but can't figure out how to do it--sorry!...See MoreWhat kind of window treatments work best for arched windows?

Comments (7)Hey There: We suggest that you go with blinds or shades for each window individually. A window treatment must be functional at first and looking at your pictures, the new tenant needs privacy and light management. I assume that the bottom window blinds will never be used in the first place but they will allow for light coming in and for privacy.
