Chilies are taking over my apartment!
Comments (13)All you people are out of your minds. Heck i like you guys. I grew about 200 seedlings this spring and had a styrofoam cup, and 16 ounce solo cup village this early summer. That 200 was just peppers. I germinated probably another 400-600 plants of various natures too. Needless to say i had to give away alot of them seedlings to friends and family members, cause i only have limited grow space outside and its a heavily wooded area of large oaks and such, so only certain sections of the yard get adequate sunlight. I too live in a one bedroom apartment, im thankful the landlord lets me use the yard space to grow stuff. We are pretty good friends now. He aint much for getting out there and getting his thumbs green, or maybe he just lets me do all the work cause he knows how much i enjoy it, but he sure does love the veggies. Plenty to go around. Ya know if im still here for next year, ill do the same darn thing!...See MoreHow do I take my dd apart?
Comments (3)I'm no plumber...but we recently had the gurgling followed by backup in the tub (lowest plumbing point)...and it was caused by a blockage to the main sewer line. (In my previous home, we had a basement and an annual blockage in the main sewer line that would manifest itself as a backup in the floor drains of the basement. I don't think they build them like that anymore. Ew.) Is the smell the sewery smell or the musty smell? Not that I can diagnose from that, but it might help the plumber. Musty would make me look for a leak or past spill, but a leak wouldn't have anything to do with your clog. I think that if the DD had the clog, you'd ONLY have a problem with the DD, and it would be horribly obvious. It must be bigger than that. Do check the plumbing forum. They're usually active enough over there....See MoreI need help making this sofa work for my daughter's first apartment
Comments (57)My daughter and I were out today and bought the original print fabric to make one large pillow for the sofa. She also picked out a solid color fabric in the darker green that's in the print for another slightly smaller pillow. I liked a stripe that coordinated well, but she says she wants to keep things simple. She has also decided to use the rug from IKEA. Haven't purchased it yet, tho. End tables, coffee table and lamps will be the next choices to make....See MoreWhat color sofa/sectional to do in my apartment
Comments (2)I think a black velvet sectional sounds nice. Is there a television on the fourth wall that isn't pictured? or what does the couch currently face? Also, a nice area rug could be way to disguise the carpet and ground the space!...See MoreRelated Professionals
