Slide out tray storage and symmetry of my base cabinets

I worked with the KD to try and achieve symmetry in the kitchen. I think this wall is as symmetrical as possible considering the appliances involved. However, I'm not sold on the 12" slide out tray storage in the base cabinet next to the ovens. I just can't imagine storing much in it? How much can actually fit in one of those? Our cabinets will be framed- all of our builder's cabinet brands that we get to choose from are framed. :(

I'm thinking about combining the 21" base drawers and the 12" pull out tray storage and just getting one big 33" drawer stack. I can't really change the other side of 21" drawers because the 12" door next to it is actually my super susan. Will it look unbalanced to have 33" drawers on one side and 21" drawers on the other? I think it's going to be so hidden behind the island that no one will ever know, and it will probably be so much more functional for me.

What would you do? Keep it as is? Or go for a 33" drawer stack instead?
