That's exactly the faucet I have ordered but not yet received. I couldn't find any mention of Justyna on this forum or the plumbing forum. So I'd be interested in comments as well. Thanks for starting a thread.

We have the Mico Simone French Country in polished Nickel. It is really very pretty and appears to be very well made, which it should be for the price! Have not seen the Justyna line.

We've had Mico faucets in two bathrooms and a tub for 5+ years and we love them.

We put the Hex in the in-law apt. we built for MIL. It's been in for a year and she hasn't complained. Take that as a good sign -- she complains about everything!

I'm actually also looking at the Justyna Hex--I added my last post without realizing we were all talking about the same faucet. Can you tell me what other features are in your kitchen? Just wondering if I'm on the right track, design wise!

ehs20815 - I ended up getting the Elkay Victoria faucet (brushed nickel), but it was a tough choice. The Hex is beautiful...I hope Barbara posts a picture. I like all things victorian/old world/country. Our cabinets are due to be delivered in 2 weeks. They will be maple with a medium brown ("chestnut") stain. The hardware will be brushed nickel knobs & pulls (see picture below). Backsplash will be white subway tiles. Counter will be granite ("Luna Pearl).

I have the Justyna Primio Maglio in satin nickel in my kitchen at my prep sink. I've been using it for over a year and so far it's fine. I think I probably should have used a different style, perhaps a little more arched,(just personal preference), but the faucet itself is very well built and I've had no problems. I also have the Justyna Eve in my bathroom and matching soap dispensers, and Justyna in my shower, and all the products are great. The plumber liked them and everything appears to being working just fine. I'm very satisfied. Hope that helps you in making a decision. There might be a picture of my faucet in the FKB under rotag.

rotag---why do you feel the faucet needs to be more arched for the prep sink????? Just curious, as I was considering the Primio for my prep sink.

Thank you Tom, Ventupete, Rucnmom and Rotag for your reviews of Mico and Justyna. They were very helpful. Laurie, your kitchen sounds wonderful. Ehs20815- our project doesn't start until May 12 - demolition day. So I haven't received the faucet yet though it's been ordered. We'll have off-white cabinets with flat panel drawers and a simple edge (ogee?) with just the edge on the cabinet doors, costa esmeralda granite countertops (medium green/grayish green with some ivory) and honed green slate tiles for the floor. We plan to buy off-white subway tiles for the backsplash. The sink is a single Blancomagnum. My idea was to have an "old-fashioned" look like from the 30s or 40s and so I think the Hex faucet style is somehow reminiscent of that look. To me, and I might be way off-based, it is vaguely industrial, vaguely deco. We've ordered it in polished chrome. Also, I like the fact that it's totally different from any other faucet I saw. The only problem I'm having now is deciding what kind of cabinet hardware goes with the faucet. What are some of the features in your kitchen?

My kitchen is not up and running yet, but I purchased the Mico Seashore faucet for my main sink and the Mico potfiller faucet. This week I'll be purchasing the Mico Seashore with pullout spray for my prep sink.

I've only heard good things about how solid they are!

I'm curious too about your Primo Maglio. It's one of the few that might fit my bill for single lever, long reach (well, the kitchen version), reasonable price. The shape of it makes me wonder a little if it will still fit a big pot underneath, etc. I know yours is a bar one, but is it the same shape as the one I'm linking here? And if so, could you elaborate more on the wishing for a bigger arch issue? Is there a functional reason for that?

And does anyone know for sure if these are all brass and with ceramic valves? I can't seem to find that type of info anywhere I'm looking.

bungalowdawn- I spoke on the phone with a rep from Justyna and asked if they are solid brass and have ceramic valves - he told me "Yes".
barbara- I agree with you that the Hex has an art deco look to it. Have you looked at Restoration Hardware's site. See link below. Take a look at the Westwood knob and the Dillon knob and the Dillon pull. The Duluth pull looks like it would go well with the Hex, also. Another idea...check out the clear glass knobs. I believe there's a glass one with a tint of green in it that might look interesting with your counters being a green/grayish green.

I have a Justyna "Maestro" faucet in satin nickel. It's 8 months old. I had a problem right after it was installed and I just called Justyna (mico) and they sent me a replacement part which I was able to change myself. No questions asked, they didn't even require a receipt. I would say the customer service is pretty good if you have a problem. I do like the faucet, it's very heavy and beautiful.

Thanks Laurie for pointing out some of the Restoration hardware designs that escaped our notice when we visited the store last weekend. Your comment is really helpful. I'll post photos when the project is completed, who knows when?!

Here are a couple of pictures of my faucet, with the water running and you can see that it hits pretty close to the front. But I have adapted to it and overall, like the faucet. Mine is a pull out faucet, so no problem filling tall pots.

We have a couple of the Mico Seashore faucets (ORB). Have had a few problems over the last couple of years. Mico has always been very prompt on replacement parts.

Word of advice to those of you with their Seashore ORB finish, and possibly with other finishes, put a little silicone grease around the dome at the bottom of the handle once a year or so. You will know when it is needed by the control becoming rather stiff. Without the grease it will chew up the O ring under the cap.

pew1 - what problems have you had with your mico faucets? Were the issues just finish (ORB) related? Thanks for the grease tip. I have a mico seashore and the o ring just broke.

Found that without keeping the grease on the dome, that not only will the o ring go, but in our case the entire finish (ORB) on the dome gave way.

Finish went on top of a soap dispenser.

Spout came off a soap dispenser.

Alignment pin came out of the pull out.

In every case Mico was very prompt in sending replacements.

We have two sinks with identical faucets, and soap dispensers. We have not had any two have the same problems, which I guess is good news.

Almost forgot, a plastic shaft on a soap pump broke.

FYI, there are no kids in the house, just a couple of old goats(early 60's)that do not abuse things. Faucets have been in use just over 2 years.
