I have the same glass canisters Lydia. I remember trying to find glass ones a few years ago. It wasn't easy! I love them.
I've got a huge one as well that holds the dry cat food.

Here's my kitty, hiding. This was taken the first day we got him. Couldn't find him anywhere, and there he was, on the very top of my bookcase, still as a statue. To this day, he still prefers heights.

What a nice idea! I'm enjoying everyone's pictures. I think I need a new cat. And dog . . .

Anyway, here's a corner of my living room. I forget why I took this rather odd shot. The green chair is where I do my rug hooking and reading. That's a picture of my granddaughter on the mantle, and my mom made the sampler on the wall.

And here's the stained-glass fireplace screen, all lit up. It was a gift from my son and DIL a few years ago. (I had more stuff on the mantle then.)

This is a shot of part of my work room and on the wall is a mini-quilt of my cat, made by a swapper friend at Flickr. It was such a surprise to get and I just love it! (Please don't think she made Parker's leg funny, that's exactly the way she was sitting in a photo that she used to go by. Weird cat!)

This is our hallway. My daughter painted that picture one day while we were hanging out together & playing with paints. She was going to throw it away, I snagged it instead and framed it. It's one of my favorite things and she likes it too!

I have an old dresser (it was my DH's great grandmothers, his grandmother was told by her mother that if she fixed it up, she could have it in her home, then it came with Gma when she moved in with Dean's family. His mother had it in their house, and now it is in our home) that sits in the entry way to our home. I display the different holiday/themes on it. 4th of July is on it now.
