Wall Decor for Master Bed

I'm trying to get our house ready to go on the market and am stumped with wall decor ideas. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and I just finished painting it in Sherwin-Williams Latte. On one of the taller walls I have a two doorways with an antique chest of drawers centered in between. I'm wondering if it would be weird to put a design of antique decorative plates above the chest?? I think it would be really pretty, but being that it's a bedroom I just wonder if they'd be out of place. I want the plates to be without any pattern and in a creamy white finish. On the wall opposite I will have 121" pleated curtains in a toile with a creamy/white background with a neutral khaki design. Wish I could post a picture but my camera is missing. Thanks for any input!

Would the plates have any designs or different shapes? If so, I think that would look fine.

The least you can do the better. As long as your home is clean and not cluttered, having bare walls is not a bad thing. Prospective buyers can envision their own belongings in the space. Just stage your bathrooms with nice towels and simple vanity sets. Take items off the tops of your chests and and tables and place a colorful houseplant or candles there. In this case...less is more. :-)

Your room is very nice. But I think to fill that wall with art/photos, you're either going to have to have very large pieces or many of them. It's not possible to tell from the one view, but the first thing I thought when I saw your pic is that I would move the head of the bed over to that wall. I am assuming there is a window on the other side of the bed to match the one we see? If so, then that wall between them is much smaller for hanging art. It also might be possible to partially block the view of the dog crates if they are behind the bed when entering the room (or could they go on the wall the door is on, so they aren't so prominent from the door view?) Placing art above the dog crates is going to look odd and unfinished to me.

How are you going to disguise a TV in order to accomplish a calm spa feel? There are TVs hidden in mirrors, I suppose... I wonder if you can find one that looks like a fireplace when it is not being a TV? You could go to Art.com and find a soothing picture, mount it in a wooden frame that is quite deep, then mount an identical frame made by 1 x 1s to the wall and use a hidden piano hinge to attach the wall frame to the picture frame. Then you mount the TV behind the art and just swing the art open to see the TV. Like how my carpenter hid a safe behind my powder room vanity mirror. Darn, picture is sideways! See, it is behind this mirror. The hinge is on the side facing the corner, but inside, so you can't see it anyways.

IMO the first thing you need is aheadboard then the space left over is for your pictures. Maybe 3 framed hung at the same level as the octogon window above the headboard.

I see a vent under the windows so that would not be a great place for a bed. I would put the bed against the opposite wall with a pretty headboard. You will then face the windows. If your bed is tall bed, you can handle I would put a dresser on one side and a chest of drawers on the other side since your room is long. You can hang the TV on the wall with a matching dresser underneath it or place it on a long dresser on the side of the wall near the windows that is on the side closer to the French doors.
