How complicated is moving a refrigerator for reno?

This might be a silly question, but---how complicated is it to move a refrigerator in and out of a kitchen during renovations? We've never had to move a full-sized one before, and will be replacing ours so we figured just move the old one out when we start and the new one in when it's all finished.

However, then our state decided to do cash for clunker appliances, and we can get a $200 rebate if we buy the refrigerator now instead of waiting until July, when we'd planned to get it. The caveat: to get the rebate, it must be installed by the end of May, which means we'd have to install it, recycle the old one, and then move it again in July for the renovation.

So my question, I guess---is this worth $200, or will we blow through some of that just having people move it or potentially damaging a brand new refrigerator during the move? (I honestly have no idea how resilient refrigerators are....maybe this is a non-issue?)

Any thoughts would be great--thanks!
