ohh yay! i'll let you know! when i talked one day last week with DH on the phone he told me a larger package showed up. I was thinking it was the blanket. Turned out to be my tiny bottle of foundation! I can't believe the size box they used to ship it! ha

Unbelievably, I found the Sombrero Hot Coral and Salsa Red at the Flemington Lowes today, 6/14/14! I am so pleased! There are still a good number left. I had called and asked the garden center if they had it, but apparently the person manning the phone didn't know that echinacea is also called coneflower, which is what the front of the label says. Glad I had to run up there for something else and decided to stop in. :)

dream...You are such a Dear...not only doing your trees, but your Mother and Aunt's as well.. What a Blessing you are to them...I'm sure in Many, Many ways. I love the story of your Chenille Spread..and that you found these ladies that made the skirt and stockings..I guess there is someone for everything!! Also, those stockings must be such treasures for your Mother & Aunt to enjoy. My ornies are also from the 50's and 60's..My mother had given me many when I first got married. She used to set up a tree in both my brother's and my room..when we were growing up..Then she gave them to me..I know what you mean about not being in the best of shape..but they are really beautiful and have a special meaning. I want you to know, YOU have become MY official Enabler... I am running out ASAP to buy another Tree. I usually do two trees. I put one in the FR and one in the Upstairs Hall, that you see when you first come in the front door. Now, after seeing your's I've got to get another to put in my DR!! lol Oh..by the way...Do you think, when you finish your mom and aunt's trees, you'll have time to Trim Another Tree >> for ME??? lol >> just kidding... jane

Hi! No problem. The lights were shiny, cheap chrome and (looking at the cans) I used Rust-Oleum's Ultra Cover 2x coverage Primer in the red/rust color. Then I used Rust-Oleum Universale Metallic All Surface Paint in ORB. The so called 'metallic' finish isn't at all garish looking. Out of all the orb spray paints I've tried, I like the color of this one best. I do believe I used Krylon's black or Orb for the first coat of actual paint because I thought I might run out of the Rustoleum ORB and didn't feel like having to stop mid project. They're holding up great and I have no problems cleaning them. I recommend getting one of those nifty spray gun attachments for the paint can if you don't have one. It makes the application nicer and saves your hand!

Wow- It really does go perfectly with your colors! I am so glad! I was afraid it got lost in the mail, because I mailed some other things to PA the same day and they got there last week!

I like the second arrangement of it draped over the chair casually, but they all look nice. I love how it picks up the color for that side of the room, and works with the pillow you chose!

It's so nice when this happens, because I wasn't using it anymore and now it has a perfect home:-)

I hope all of your other projects are going well. I've been off the boards for a while now, so I'm not sure what you have been up to, but it looks great!

yeah i haven't seen you around. Must have missed this earlier today.

DH has been the blankie theif as of late! Now i'm using the blue one from the bedroom! ha He says thank you too!

I'm currently trying to get some stuff set up in the entrance area. My walls are all still bare. Really itching to paint but I still have to wait awhile for that.
