Do I need a liner for a ventilation insert?
Comments (9)Weissman, yes you are correct in your statement that the insert includes the blower (internal, not in-line or external). The liner (which is the term that both manufacturers use)I have indicated can be used in conjunction with the insert and basically trims out or frames the insert. The liner I am referring to in no way could be used with an external blower. It has a rectangle cut out in the middle of it the size of the insert. I am familiar with the set up that you are referring to (in-line or external blower) in which case you would just get the liner. The scenario you mention is not my situation. Bottom line is I need someone on here that can advise me on capture as it relates to these particular ventilation inserts and whether I need the liner to accomplish this. Can you advise me on that? If not, is there anyone else on these forums that can advise me on capture?...See Moreneed ideas for LARGE shelf liners

Comments (8)Rococogurl, what specific inserts are you talking about - and why would they have to be lined? I have a Hafele condiment pull-out, and had a smaller version of the same thing in my previous home, that I love, and one of the things I like best about it is that the flat surfaces are so easily cleanable - they're not wood, which I consider a good thing for the flat portion of shelves that will have oils, spices and food on them....See MoreNeed a shelf liner to protect shoe shelves
