Roofing color selection with hardie board

I am going to be siding my house with James Hardie Board and I have selected the color Woodstock Brown for the lap siding and Navajo Beige for the trim. I am also putting on a new roof, but I am not sure what color would look best with my siding selections. My contractor is suggesting Certainteed Landmark Weathered Wood. The sample of the shingle he gave me appears very gray and dull looking, and I'm not sure this would be the best choice. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much.

If the trim and shingles are already up I'd get some samples and put them up against the house in varying lighting conditions.

Not sure why that first pic posted incorrectly. this is Driftwood. BTW they only offer this option in certain regions (just like the Hardie planks).

From a quick google search, it looks like others have paired evening blue hardie with shakers in a matching blue, off-white (matching the trim), or the traditional shaker color. I personally think you can't go wrong with a traditional shaker, but they all look nice.

We are in the PNW, in a wooded area. Here’s our garden shed (which matches our house) with Hardie board in Iron Grey on the body, Monterrey Taupe trim around the windows and doors and cedar shingles stained in Sico Natural. I hope this helps you to picture your house.

Many thanks for the responses. Decoenthusaste,Can you explain what you mean by "The portico looks undersized for the volume of the house and the entire new entry looks quite craftsman; not a compatible look for the style of the building." How would you increase the portico? I did not want a flat roof as it does not keep with the country feel of my home. Do you have a photo of what you had in mind? What do you mean by craftsman? thanks
