Did you buy your cabinet hardware from Ebay?
Comments (6)I bought mine from ebay. I believe it was from myhomehardware. I was pleased w/ the weight and quality of what we recieved. There was 1 pull that I'd bought for my kitchen that was too litte, it appeared to be chunkier or thicker in the picture (at least to me) and didn't have a big enough appearance once I got them. But I rearranged the others I'd bought and put those on less important cabinets. I've just recently finally sent back some and need to get some others. I don't know if that will come through or not. Hope so though! If you ever go to Canton, TX First Monday they have a couple hardware dealers there that have the same stuff that's on ebay for pretty much the same price....See MoreWhere did you buy your Felt Carpet Pad?

Comments (11)Arlene, the model number is MCWBC77DZC. I'm positive that our local Home Depot did not carry it. They only had a small Haier, but if you can find the Magic Chef cheaper at your Home Depot with a rebate and save $150 - great! Ours is completely loaded with soft drinks, water and beer. We have set both sections set at 44 degrees, and DH and I are happy with the coldness (and I like beer cold). However as bbtondo mentioned, the unit can be set down to 39 degrees. The unit cycles on and off fairly frequently. Inititally we used ours in another room while the kitchen demolition was going on. I thought it was louder than I cared for, and told DH it may have to go back. He asked me to reserve judgment until it was installed inside its opening in the island. That made a big difference. I still hear it when it cycles on, but the noise is buffered. I'm happy with the unit. It definitely does the job and looks good at a reasonable price. Comments (68)The land was originally 500+ acres on a land grant from the Governor of NC before the Revolutionary War. So, it's been in my family for 200+ years. We're exactly the same, even the same state. Also have friends that live 30min away from our city because they "wanted to be by their parents, wanted to be out of the city, wanted cheap land with woods..." but nobody goes to their houses for entertainment and they're always the ones driving everywhere. Ick. I grew up in that type of area, and we moved to a more populated area with better schools while the kids were growing up ... but now we're looking to go back. However, I can't relate to the "nobody goes to their houses" part; our family tends to gather out in the country. It's easy to host gatherings: No parking problems, space for cookouts and picnics, kids love playing in the woods and have a barn instead of a playhouse, people feel free to bring their dogs, and we have a go-cart track, an archery range, and a rifle range shared by the family. You can't have a bonfire in the city. When we build, we're going to add a pool to the mix. Also, most kids don't like growing up in BFE, parents end up having to drive them everywhere.. Having grown up in the aforementioned "BFE", I understand you: We couldn't walk to friends' houses, going anywhere required a car, part-time jobs as teens weren't plentiful. However, growing up out in the country comes with some benefits that kids tend to overlook: ample space, learning old-fashioned skills, and programs like 4H. I think it's unfair to say that MOST kids don't like growing up in a rural area. We have no way to verify that....See Moreashlander
