Kraus SS farmhouse sink - pictures from front?
Comments (8)I don't myself have a photo, but I am linking the Kraus website's page for this sink. It has 10 photos, and it looks to me that pic #10/10 is the sink almost straight on. Hope that helps. Also I know eBay has stainless apron front sinks for sale that are 16-gauge, and "flat front". I'll link one, cause this seller has 100% positive feedback, but there are more flat-front apron sinks on eBay: SS apron front sink with flat front on eBay Here is a link that might be useful: Kraus Website Sink KHF200-33-KPF s This post was edited by akchicago on Fri, Apr 5, 13 at 8:41...See More!!Rust Problem!!! with Kraus farmhouse sink stainless steel
Comments (60)good luck Missi. I would address the spots quickly. I see that the new ones that appear come off rather easily with a lemon and baking soda followed by a microfiber cloth. I went back over the heavier marks with barkeepers friend and microfiber and many of them came up... I'd be careful with barkeepers friend, though, as it did remove my finish on a few spots -- I may have wet the cloth too much with it. But I would also try the cleaner vinmark suggested. I feel a lot better knowing I can change that sink out if I find the right person to do it so I'm not as upset as I was before. I had a Franke, Dawn and Kohler -- this is all new to me. Never again with Amazon or overstock for me on anything I need to last. My lesson learned....See MoreKraus farmhouse sink?
Comments (17)Regarding Kraus faucets - note that some if not all are not lead-compliant. Matters for the law in California, for your health everywhere. Mercy - I'm not sure really how to judge the quality on an absolute basis; I've never had a ss sink myself so can't really compare. I think dents, maybe? And sound? rust? In comparison with my mothers' growing up, this is quieter and obviously heavier. The tight corners are not too tight as to make cleaning difficult. It's really deep which I like. It's not what I *ordered*! (another story), but I'm OK with it. It's the either 121 or 101 -- can't remember; I think the latter. Whatever it isn't is the one I ordered with 5 sides, but that was backordered and they sent the 4-sided one instead. (Did they think I wouldn't notice?). I think it's a fine option; feels very sturdy and with a nice wide outflow, though perhaps that's standard. I don't like the sink grid though! But it's possible I just don't really like grids at all. For years I hankered after them, never having really had one other than the plastic-coated aftermarket items you buy at Target. It's possible I just won't be liking any metal sink grid. Stuff falls through; can't fish it out, can't easily clean around it - annoying. I would agree the sink is exceptionally well boxed. I swear a huge proportion of these reviews focus on the sink's packaging though! I was pretty amused by this. I think you need someone who's had the sink for a few years to pipe up probably. But I don't know how long they've been around....See MoreDepth for farmhouse sink
Comments (7)I did not know that kraftmaid made two different apron front sink bases. My wife said she wanted an apron front sink and the lady said ok. Super annoying. That Kohler sink may work. I'm not hung up on the material just that its white and not stainless or copper. thanks for the info...See Moremarcolo
