My double trouble

I took just these 2 out back a yesterday so the other kids could get a nap....it was one thing after another with them! They stuck together like glue and seemed to get into everything they know is off limits to them! Throwing bark into the fountain, stuffing the birdhouse with pingpong balls, they tried to fill the dogs water bowl with sand but I caught them! Usually they are really good and I can sit and relax....not sure what was going on yesterday with them...they seemed to have their heads togther at all times plotting the next naughty move!

LOL Poor Gwanny! Double trouble but double kisses and hugs. (when you can catch them that is!)

There was a gal in last week that I know. She has a set of triplets, born a month before Drew. I talked to them and they were good as gold while visiting, when they left I just heaved a big sigh and I told DH can you imagine having 3 Drews????? LOL One 4 year old wears me out!

Aww Gwanny they are good little guys really you know that. Just every now and again everyone has to let loose and be naughty. It makes life an adventure.
They need T-shirts one say "We tried to be good...
the other ...but we got BORED". :)

. Woodpeckers peck for three reasons: To build a home, to attract a mate, and to eat. At this time of year it is not likely they are building a new place; it is a bit late for a brood. They are also not likely trying to attract a mate for the same reason. I will suggest then that perhaps there is something under your siding that is attracting them . . .. some kind of bug etc. Cure that problem and they will go away, at least until another mating season. The squirrels are likely just being opportunists; suggest you get them elsewhere as they can cause ALL kinds of havoc; especially the smaller, red ones if you have them. Try the ammonia; the mothballs are nasty stuff for ALL living things . . . . and if it does work; you'll be living with the smell lots longer than they will .. . I've also heard of pepper spray to repel them . . .. Good luck . . .. Bob

Double trouble- two septics?

my house fromt eh late 70's has 2 septics as well. one serves teh 2 bathrooms, 1 serves the kitchen and laundry. mine are on opposite sides of the house and the fields are close to 100 ft apart. i bet the problem was that someone put it in illegally, not that he had 2. the gov is cracking down on old unpermitted work in many areas. just another place they can get money in these hard times. even if it was not the gov tha tforced his hand, the buyer's inspection listed the 2 systems and they could find no proof the 2nd was done correctly and permitted, so it had to come out.

I'm actually not seeing it as a big mess. The architect spec'd the door and overall layout. We loved the idea of having a door. We knew the ovens would open in front of the door. Are you referring to the overall design as a mess, or that it's a tight squeeze? it's not like the KD can slide the run back a foot or even a few inches. When I tell you I interviewed/worked with 3 different KDs before contracting with one, working on this very area, I would not be exaggerating. We even entertained the idea of not putting that door in and instead, creating an access panel to toss recyclables, trash, etc but kept coming back to the garage door idea. Even during construction, I am loving the door so I'm not sorry we have it. Just want to figure out the door knob issue...

Thank you everyone for your comments. Sabalmatt. the ID is much appreciated. I looks like Yuccado is still offering Aechmea distichantha for sale, which they call a 'giant aechmea'. I love bromeliads. If I lived in a year round warm climate I'd have a bunch of them. They say they prefer half day sun which is about what mine gets. Carrie -- you have one! How interesting. It would be nice to be able to plant it outside, perhaps in a somewhat protected spot. It's a handsome plant. Just know those stiff leaves with saw edges will grab your clothes if you get too close. Anyone else grow it?

No way i can get mad at these two...they are very entertaining! I do get tired of chasing after them though LOL....you'd think I'd be really skinny! they are really good for the most part, but today they cut loose and kept me hopping up every 5 minutes to clean up after them. They have an obsession with doggie poop too and Seth has been known to pick it up! I have to make sure it's always cleaned up or he'll do it for me! They are always on a poop hunt and let me know when they find it.....it's alot of work with those 2 lately! I love them though....funny guys they are! jenni we are so blessed to have them around so much, some days when they aren't here I miss all of the craziness!

Oh yes, I have these issues with certain children in my preschool class. Once they are together, watch out! I love your pictures.

Adorable. My daughters both had a set of twins as friends-Abby and Emily (girl-girl-not identical) and Brett and Eden (boy/girl). They all played nicely and helped clean up any games or toys before they went home. My guess is that Moms of twins are extra vigilant with their Double Troubles.

Thanks everyone...no Zeetera no granddaughters...yet! Expecting grandbaby #4 in November...hopefully this will be my girl!
