Interior use for 4-panel sliding door?

I have a wall separating a den from the main living area and would like to install a 4-panel set of gliding patio doors and associated transom windows to keep the rooms separate/accessible but capture the light provided from the skylights in the den area. We are looking at installing something like the 12' x 8' Andersen 200 series 4-panel glider. Since this is an interior application, does anyone know of a better or interior-type sliding French door product or are we stuck with exterior grade materials on one side of the door? We just don't have enough room to use swing-in/out French doors.

There are better options than using an exterior slider: those door require a bottom track, whereas a traditional pocket door does not, and retreats all the way out of sight when not needed.

You could also do a non-pocket slider, where the door is still visible when open.

My door got trimmed a bit to fit and get rid of some dings so the hinge mortises got trimmed off. Procrastinator that I am, I never got around to putting the pull hardware on and just used the hole left from the knob. There was a recessed cup pull I had my eye on to use though. It would have completely taken care of my knob hole. It would depend on what type of knob and lock set was on your door. One edge on each door will probably never be seen anyway once the trim is on.

That's the beauty of the stacking sliders she is asking about. The recessed sill width is the depth of the total of the panels. The panels don't need to be adjusted for the flooring. The sill of course needs to be put in and planned for at the framing stage (preferable drainage track if a wet area). All of which leads back to the budget questions and now the question as to the state of construction.
