I forgot to mention, I am going to have the current green color matched today so I can do some touch ups. There are areas that have chipped or peeled - not a lot but a few here and there so I'm wondering whether to get a quart of that or a gallon because if I'm only doing the touchups, a quart is enough. If I'm doing the furniture and door, I'll get a gallon.

I crave a little color addition but also know that there's a fair amount going on with this house already - lots of flower blooms at various times (pinks, reds, oranges) and that cedar really does stand out so I don't want it to look crazy with too much.

I'm leaning towards "cedar" toned paint for the front door and either matching the trim for the wicker or going with plain black and using the cushions I already have that have that rusty cedar background but I'd really like some opinions.

What a pretty house! Would 'coral,' peachy, or orange color look weird? On my monitor, the cedar looks quite orange

Also, is the top step painted with the green paint, too?

The porch floor is slate gray, but it's peeling so will need to be redone this year probably.

The riser is the green though, that's probably what you're seeing.

I may have done the mock up a little dark, but am thinking maybe something very close to the rusty color in the patio cushions (which goes will with the cedar).

What color for the patio furniture though???? Not the rust since I've got the color in the cushions .... or yes?

I still have so much to do but I fall more and more in love with this house every day.

I'm still flat broke from the move but am trying to do little $20 and $50 fix ups here and there and this time I'm focusing on putting on a pretty face for the porch/front of the house, so a gallon or two of paint is what I'm working with.

What if you paint the wicker white or just a really dark brown or black? That should work with the rusty color cushions. And maybe some flower boxes.
What color is the lattice? You may want to paint that too.

What about a gray/taupe color like the exterior of this house for the furniture and either it, or the green for the door?

What a darling house! I was thinking that a mahogany door (polished wood) would be beautiful. So another idea might be to look at a very dark brown glossy paint with a touch of purple in it to achieve that look if it's something you'd like. The cedar color could be fun and welcoming if you can find just the right shade.

With all the pattern and texture in the facade, I would hesitate to add another color for anything but the front door, so my vote would be to match the green of the trim for your wicker, and then use light khaki cushions with cording in the color of the door.

Ooooh I love your home! I would change the green to a toned down green and I love the idea of painting the wicker white.

A wrought iron window box filled with flowers on the upper window would look so nice! Flowers and plants always adds so much to a house.

Cute house and I like the teal! I was going to suggest an orange before learning of all the cedar. Can you paint/stain that out to tone it down? An orange door might connect it all though. For the wicker, maybe a white the house body color so it doesn't stand out and you just see your charming house.
