And my favorite! DIL's had shirts made for the boys and had this picture taken for me. It was my favorite gift of the day!

Carlota-----How nice to hear from you----I'm Florence/zeffyrose from Pa----I understand about back problems----I've had three operations since 20001----two hip replacements and one back surgery---I'm unable to garden like I used to but I can still smell the roses--thank goodness--- Antique and rose forum are still pretty active but Conversations is not active like it used to be which is sad----we hardly hear from all the old regulars-- I check in every so often and I'm so glad I saw your post-- Sam hasn't been here for a while----but I'm in touch with her---She lost her precious DH Gary last August---It has been very painful for her--he was the love of her life-- She still has her horse and has added a goat to keep it company-- I'm so happy to see you posting again Keep in touch--- Florence

Thank you for all your kind words. This was my first year without him and every holiday has been bittersweet. I am one of five and the only girl. At 47 yrs. old I was still Daddy's girl. I miss him so much he was such a wonderful man. You are all right this was truly a gift from the heart that I will treasure forever. Every time I hear it gently chime it makes me smile. Thank you. BTW, we live in So.Ohio, so the Imperial Glass pieces are even more special. The factory closed the same year my first child was born. Imperial Glass, Bellaire, OH I don't collect EAPG, but I once found one of the 'Candlewick' candle holders at a Goodwill store.

LOL...DS and DIL took Ricky and Seth to Disneyland on Saturday and I told DS to take cell phone pics throughout the day and send them to me on my phone. (he does that alot) Anyway I only got about 4 all day and they were the backs of the boys pretty much. I told DH he's sendign me crappy pictures and text him back to send better ones! They wore these shirts that day and they didn't want me to see them until I got this picture the next day so they were afraid to take the front views of them! They were laughing all day about how mad I was getting with the back views...I just couldn't understand what he was doing. Now I get it! When they got home I got all the pictures from their digital camera! I felt better! LOL.....gotta please momma!

What a sweet thoughtful thing to do. I love it. I've been trying to get an updated photo of all my DGK's for 3 years. Hopefully this summer, when DD from California comes home in August.

Yeah....I forgave them! I can't believe Ricky didn't tell me what they did. It was taken last month and he kept that a secret very well this time. He always spills the beans if he knows something!
