Has anyone heard of Kitchen Cabinet Depot?

Comments (8)We have been customers of Faucet Direct in the past, though not for a toilet, and were happy with the price and service. We are about to purchase a new toilet any day now, and like you want a skirted design. Our first criterion, however, as this will be a toilet that guests in our home use, is that the toilet flush completely and reliably without what is delicately called "streaking." For that reason, we are honing in on the Toto Vespin II, while not (yet) ruling out the new Inax Dover. Those two toilets, and a few of their siblings, are the only toilets of which we are aware that gave both Double Cyclone (Toto's name for it) or Double Vortex (Inax's name for it) flushing technology, which is a superior method of getting a full flush with low water usage, and Sanagloss (Toto's name for it) or Hyper Clean (Inax's name for it) surface treatment of the bowl's interior ceramic surface to make it super smooth and antibacterial. The place to find the most thorough discussion of how well various models of toilets flush is http://www.terrylove.com/crtoilet.htm and the toilet discussions forum of the same site, http://www.terrylove.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?3-Toilet-Forum-discussions. Comments (52)fwiw...some cheapie hints... Home Depot online can be accessed through EBates, which gives a little rebate for the referral. Go to Ebates first (have to register), then go to HD. Some of the other online kitchen stuff companies are also available through the Ebates internal referral service. I got a $35 refund check from them one month. I wish I had known about Ebates before I spent big bucks on two cast iron sinks and two faucets through HDepot online. Look for online codes and/or holiday discounts from the various vendors. You'd be surprised what are considered "holidays" by the online companies. Mayday might be a 10% off day, that kind of thing. I know that "Black Friday" after Thanksgiving was a good discount day (actually the entire weekend and the Monday afterward) and even April Fool's Day had a discount for some vendors. Often the home web page for a company has today's discount code listed on it. I've sometimes emailed the company on the "contact us" and asked point-blank, "Is there a discount today or in the next week which I need to type in when I buy online?" Often they give me the info. Or they tell me to register for their email newsletter so I can snag the upcoming code for the next "sale." At least that tells me that there is a sale coming up....See MoreHas anyone sued Home Depot over defective cabinetry?
Comments (16)Omega is Masterbrands top of the line. Not sold at a box store. Nothing sold at a box store is top of the line. It’s all low to mid grade. Decora may be the best quality they sell, but it is FAR from anything high end in the real world. The real world is outside the box store. And they do not have a clue about high end kitchens. Once upon a time, I did 96K worth of Omega cabinets in a kitchen. That would be 135K in today’s money. Not even that fancy or large either. And that’s not the cheapest kitchen cabinets that were ever put in a house. Far from it. If you’ve already filed a lawsuit, no wonder they aren’t dealing with you and you’ve been told to go to arbitration. MB isn’t going to deal with you either. Lawyering up shuts off any working with anyone. Anywhere....See Moresfcitydweller
