Buyer pays difference in commission?

I'll try to make the background fast: we are purchasing a condo for my in-laws. Our "regular" realtor happened to also be the listing agent for the property we decided to buy (complete coincidence, we did lots of research). Dual agency, all commissions paid by seller. Our first offer of was submited last night, accepted by them with no counter this morning.

Turns out seller is almost upside-down on the property and would have to bring $100 or so dollars to close. Our realtor is making this up from her commission. She has brought up the fact that she is cutting her commission to both my husband and I about four times today, basically in every conversation we have had with her. We have thanked her. She still mentions it.

My question: WHY does she keep bringing it up? Does she expect us to pay her the difference? Should we? We expected a counter, didn't get one, and agreed on the original asking price. Am I missing something?
