Cottage Interior Paint- at a loss

groomingal

We have been in our 1900's cottage for almost a year and I still feel lost. Just when I thought I had decor, paint, etc going in the right direction it started to feel wonky.

We have decided on our exterior paints- The roof is polished silver metal, the siding a pale pink, trim in white, flower boxes in black.

I keep thinking it will not feel cohesive with the current honey tan interior. Previous owner had green and gray based tans- it was drab. I picked out a cream two rooms later- it was too bright with lemon yellow base. So now it is the honey tan in a couple of rooms so it isn't too late to change.

I'm hoping some of you can recommend some colors that could be used on the interior that wouldn't be so contrasting to the cool pink exterior. I would really like to use just one color through the entire house (and preferably not white). We have dark wood floors and white trim- those I would like to keep as they are.
