With fall and pumpkins all around I suddenly was hungry for those wonderful homemade iced pumpkin shaped sugar cookies we used to get trick-or-treating (I lived in a small town where it was safe to eat the nieghbors cookies).

I have never found a sugar cookie recipe, or frosting recipe that is quite right. Any tried and true recipes would be appreciated!
