3' or 4' pull for 18' drawer? And 1 or 2 pulls for 26.5' drawer?
Comments (12)We have 2 pulls on the cabs that are 30 or wider and 1 pull on everything else. I find that with the smooth operation of our cabs that having 2 pulls is nice. I can reach a pull from either side of the drawer and never use 2 pulls at the same time. It helps if you have a few people in the kitchen at the same time, esp for the 36" wide drawers. I also like the double pull look better on the wide and deep drawers. Most don't do a 4 stack of drawers that wide, so I am not sure how a single pull would work in that instance. These are 30" wide drawers with 2 pulls. I can't picture them with only 1. Notice that neither pull is very far from the center:...See MoreOne drawer pull or two?
Comments (18)One long pull is a more contemporary design and functions well. I've had a kitchen with that look but in my new kitchen we're doing a vintage feel and i'm using 2 cup pulls on all the drawers but will be getting some very antique handles for my pantry and cupboard and will only do one of those (but they have a backplate and so would be too much with 2). I agree with the poster who said on today's cabs you don't need to worry with damaging the glides. I love revans1 red cabs (above) and those pulls are perfect for that look. They're so sturdy, you wouldn't need two. Do what you love....See MoreTop drawers in wide drawer stacks - one drawer or two?
Comments (16)I only have one wide stack, and I split the top in two - like Lisa_a, they are used for different things. One is potholders, which gets used all the time; the other is the junk/tool drawer, which is used far less (and at non-kitchen times). It may have been weird/awkward opening a 34" drawer ever time I needed a potholder. I would let function dictate. If you are using them both for similar things, definitely one....See MoreTwo 5" pulls on 30" cabinet drawer--or one?
Comments (11)In our old house, we had two knobs on the drawers and always opened them with just one hand on one knob. Never had a problem. We're remodeling in our new house and kitchen designer recommended putting two on the drawer bases and said they'll work just fine pulling on one knob/pull. I was concerned because our new cabinets, while good quality, are not as good as our old ones which were custom built....See Moreraehelen
