How clean for closing?

We have the pre-closing buyer's walk thru tomorrow. We won't be there or at closing since it's a relo. I've spent the last several days getting the house packed, loaded, and cleared, so now the real work begins.

We were told if the relo company bought the house, then "broom clean" was sufficient. Since we found buyers, though, I don't think that's clean enough.

When you bought a house, how clean did you expect it to be? We always assumed we'd have to clean up or hire a crew before moving in, but is that common?

I've cleaned all the bathrooms, mopped, vacuumed, and swept, windexed all glass, repainted some areas that looked spotty, removed all crud from the storage shed, and cleaned the appliances. Am I forgetting anything and do expect perfect at the walk thru?
