Guess I should have said ice cream float!

Back in my high school days, we would order at the drive in restaurants Pine Floats. lol, the waitresses were baffled as to what those were :o)

I like both Dr Pepper and Coca Cola ice cream floats.

I never knew exactly what a Purple Cow was. Did the students like them?

It is also snow cone weather here.

Glenda: When I was high school, for the biggest part of the time, I could only afford a pine float. LOL

We were discussing root beer floats at a party just this afternoon. Sounds good to me right now, but then again, I think I'd rather have a strawberry soda.

I had to look that one up Glenda. My Dad always told the waitress to give me a glass of water & a toothpick! (I was a very light eater back then)

I like floats made with Coke, Dr Pepper, Rootbeer or Big Red.
I was planning to go to the Dairy Queen and get a Coke float now.

I'm a root beer float fan, too. Had to laugh at the pine float. I'd forgotten all about those :-)

Has anyone ever tried a float with a different kind of ice cream than vanilla? I haven't, but I think strawberry ice cream would be good in the strawberry soda.

I love orange floats. Which is why I love creamcicles and creamcicle ice cream. YUM!

Now I want an orange float. (Orange pop and vanilla ice cream)

Debby: I can't believe that as much of a fan as I always was of creamsicles and dreamsicles, I have never thought of doing an orange float!! Now I want one.

Glenda, Big Red is a red soda. It may just be a Texas thing.
I did go to the Dairy Queen a little while ago and got a Coke float. Now I'm stuffed!

I love Wendys' floats. I get Coke with vanilla ice cream. It's generally half gone by the first traffic signal. I put my car in Park at the ligh and have a few sips. I also enjoy what I call a Brown Cow-Root beer and vanilla.

I dom't think I've ever had a coke float, we had Black Cows in my day which were root beer floats

I always liked old fashioned ice cream sodas the best. But for a float I like root beer or orange with vanilla ice cream.

My favourite float is Vernor's and vanilla ice cream. I make them at home but when we were kids we would go across the river to Detroit where Vernor's was made and have them.

I hate rootbeer so I always have a coke float if I have one. Now I want to know what is a pine float?
If I have a choice between a malt or a shake I will take a malt anyday. I love the taste of the malt powder and then most of the time it will be a vanilla malt.

A pine float is a glass of water with a toothpick in it.

I read this post just before I ran out to the grocery store. Came home with Diet Root Beer and non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt. Yummy and no guilt.

#1 cream soda and vanilla
#2 orange and vanilla
#3 grape and vanilla

Coke and root beer not so much.
