We had a quiet family evening honoring our loved ones who have passed on; we chose not to do anything with our church-group-equivalent this year because I was tired of being the one to do all the work while everyone else just came along for the ride, and no one stepped up to take the reins. Last night was Beggars Night in my city - they never do it on Halloween itself. I bought twice as much candy as I did last year and we still closed down an hour early. The weather was perfect for trick-or-treating: clear, no wind, not too cold (I remember too many years of trying to figure out Halloween costumes that would accomodate either longjohns and thick socks or winter coats, hats and mittens) which I think brought out more people for longer treks. I kept the dog quiet upstairs since all the traffic upsets him while DH manned the door. He loves to dress up - this year's theme was "the Vikings invade Scotland". LOL

I changed the settings and tried to download a new version of Jave and this is what I get! I love Kris's style and don't think he gets enough credit sometimes. Danny is completely boring to me. Yes he's a good singer, but he's boring. Adam definitely rocks, no denying he's got some pipes. I've really enjoyed him and looked forward to his and Allison's (miss her) performances every week. BUT, last night I was bored with Adam. Again, major pipes, but so predictable. I thought it would be great to see him do something a little different. Unfortunately I get the feeling Kris is out tonight. None of the votes for him went through last night (for me) and I was reading a couple other sites and others were complaining of the same thing. I said before I thought the finale was orchestrated. We'll see.

Sharma, no problem whatsoever in asking your question on this thread. If anyone else wants to discus citrus trees on this thread please free to do so. Incidentally, the 'official' low in my zip code from Weather Underground was 18 degrees. Our house is at the bottom of the hill and the temperature is often slightly lower than houses a couple of blocks up the street. The several years old Satsuma planted near south facing brick wall is undamaged. There is not even one scorched leaf ... :-) I don't know for sure if it is grafted or not, but it probably is since I bought it at a nursery. There is a dusk to dawn floodlight nearby that shines on the tree so that may help somewhat.
