It'd be nice to get this quilt top done...wallhanging I need to have completed before next Sunday!

Have a graduation party to attend Sat. evening, yard work, and perhaps cleaning...we'll see.

Our Grandson graduates tonight. His open house is
Sunday. Neighbor boys open house is tomorrow. Going out to dinner Sat. night with Don's sister who will be in town.
Maybe squeeze some quilting and gardening in there.

Packing the motorhome to go to Portland, OR for DDs college graduation. I need to decide what small project I'm going to take to work on since we'll be gone for a little over 2 weeks--maybe get caught up on my Buck a Blocks.

Quilt workshops!!!! My guild is presenting 3 workshops with Karen Kay Buckley. I'm going on Saturday (stained glass flowers) and Sunday (Ocean Sunrise). Of course that means leaving DH home alone for 2 days!

My Husband leaves on Sunday for his usual 7day work trip to Los Angeles. He goes about every 6 weeks. Can you say NAP. There is nothing like a nap when no one is home.
Then it is back to business, animals, crocheting and the quilted wall hanging of
Wind our baby goat.

Tonite, an 80 mile trip to watch DGD's T-ball game ( those 6 yr olds are so cute). Saturday, putz around the house.
Sunday, running away w/ a couple of girlfriends to the Omaha quilt show. Really looking forward to that!

A visit from my DD this weekend before she has surgery next Friday on her foot. Maybe we will take lunch to the beach on Saturday. Colleen

Three small grandkids overnight tonight, then Sat.is a salad luncheon at the church where I minister once a month about 45 miles away and then supper at my daughter's another 35 miles, lots of driving. Sunday I take the service at our church in the village where we live. Probably not much quilting but I do have some "unsewing" of a border that I just noticed I've put on wrong. I HATE unsewing.

Plant some flowers, work in the yard, maybe pick out some paint samples for the next two rooms that need to be done. I'm afraid no actual quilting will get done but I may look through some books and magazines for inspiration.

Tonight is one of our grandson's graduation...We're so proud of him, 2nd in the class of over 500 and has been attending Penn State while going to high school and on the Dean's list at both...Tomorrow we're going to a suprise 70th birthday party for a dear friend...They have a cottage near Seven Springs, here in Pa., and the party is going to be there. Sunday might be a day of complete rest!

Kind of vague so far but probably work in the yard. Dh said he was going to get a load of rocks so we can build a walkway through our swamp backyard. I am tired of working in the yard & could use some help. I have a brisket on, do I have any volunteers? lol

Tomorrow I will be picking up an order of food (www.angelfoodministres.com- too long to explain why it's an order) and then I have to go pick up my new collie puppies....YEAH!! Then when we get home we will start putting up the kennels for them. Probably finish the kennels on sunday and grill out some steaks.

I'll probably do some hooking somewhere in there too. I work at home putting fishing hooks on fishing lures.

Then it will be time to get ready for school to be out. Wednesday is the kids last day...ugh! Sometimes I wish school were all yr round, but I would feel bad for the teachers.

Working on my queensize batik quilt that been demoted and downsized to a lap quilt. I may also try to design and make a few pencil cases with zippers. DH and I also have to cut each other's hair--a chore we both hate, but it has saved a lot of money in our 47-year marriage, and it's preferable to spending an hour at the hairdresser's, so far as I am concerned. Some times we do a good job, and sometimes we mess up, but hey, hair grows out again in a few weeks!

Catching up on some BOMs for another community, making some breast cancer awareness blocks, and SLEEPING. It's been a long week. :/

I'm gonna work on my vacation pictures and babysit the grands. I sure did miss them!

Tomorrow, I WILL go to the bank, seriously, I will. (Ignore the fact that I've been saying that for the last three weeks...).

Tomorrow night... I have... a date. So, I shall cook, and look pretty and then we shall go out to a movie, and I'm excited. The last pseudo-date I had was 10 months ago.

I'm also s'posed to look through a bunch of papers and find stuff to do for next weekend, and... quilt shops.

I also went yarn shopping (I know, I know... it's not fabric!) so I have to find perfect patterns for my new yarn. :)

We are having church here on Sunday. My father is coming in from NC tomorrow sometime for a week so we are cleaning mostly and getting prepared for all this. No sewing this weekend at all.

My son's school musical is this weekend......I'm helping put theatre make-up on 60 kids. (I don't think I'll let them know I know how to do this at his new school next year)

Saturday is our neighboring town's community days...and that means TONS of yardsales..my hubby and my SIL go every year...this year we are taking the truck! lol. Last year we filled the trunk, back seat and part of the front seat!
Saturday afternoon....run over and see the new grandbaby...she will be 4 days old. She is such a snugglebunny.
gotta get the arbor and back sidewalk in...been working on it 2 weeks now...the older I get the slower I get!
Need to move about 50 hostas (I hate garden mistakes!!) and start cleaning up the picnic pavillion.
Have started some rwb blocks for a talberunner (too late for memorial day, so guess it's for the 4th of july) want to work on them...so maybe sunday afternoon. I make plans and then life decides I'm going somewhere else!! lol. Guess I just need to go with the flow!

Today was the last day of school ... YEAH!!! my teaching partner is moving back to Canada so I will go in tomorrow afternoon & help her pack up her classroom (& scavenge what I can!!!) In the morning DH & I are going to a dog show in Longmont, CO ... we are debating what kind of dog to get after our sweet old girl died in January. (Lynette, I'm jealous!!!) Hopefully the weather will be nice Sunday so I can work on pulling weeds ... tonight, a little quilting.

Congrats, Polar, on your last day! I found out on Wednesday that I am losing my beautiful, big classroom that I've only been in a year and have to move to a smaller one. So now I really have to get my paperwork done so that I can plan packing etc. I will be sneaking some knitting in a lot this weekend. It just really relaxes me. (Quilting is great too but seems to take more of my concentration and focus and I'm not sure that I have much of that right now!).

Today--in between laundry, grooming the Yorkie, cutting my hair, and light housecleaning--I plan to work on my New York Beauty. I just finished my first paper-piecing top (Endless Chain from quilterscache.com). I now have 4 tops completed. Sandwiching and quilting are not my favorite tasks!

Tomorrow, I'm going to Maryland to visit my parents. That means 3 hours on the road, so there won't be time for sewing tomorrow.

I just ordered Electric Quilt 6, and it will be delivered on Tuesday, so I need to get all my chores done on Monday so I have time to learn....
