This was the first season I have watched, and I really enjoyed it. I'm not a rock fan, so I didn't know Bret Michaels...but I like him. I'm glad he won, after all he's been through recently. The guy is a fighter and I also hope he can make a full recovery.

I only got to watch the last 10 minutes. I hated Holly all season so I was glad to see Bret win. They are both good at what they do, but Bret has the creativity and was much more likable. Bret also sells himself better. Holly is beautiful and Bret had a beautiful face back in the 80's, but he has built himself up with the bandana and hairpieces almost like he is a character.

I was rooting for Brett since the first episode. I think they all under estimated him and I'm thrilled he proved them wrong. He was a bit disorganized at times, but always seemed to pull it off.

Thankfully both of their charities came out as winners in the end.

DH & I did not enjoy Holly either. The way she treated Cindy....oh man! Glad to see Brett win!!!! Yeah!

I was rooting for Bret since the beginning and I'm really glad he won. He's a true fighter and was so happy to see him at the finale, although I hope he rests now, especially since his doctors advised against him doing the finale in NY.

I have been rooting for Brett all along and was glad he won.Not just because of what he has been through but I think he really deserved it.He worked really hard.
I didn't like Holly from the beginning.Seemed she had an "I'm better than anyone else here and I know everything attitude".I am happy to hear that she and Brett have formed a real friendship though.I hope he recovers fully.

I think Holly probably should have won but like everyone else, I was rooting for Brett.

I was not a Holly fan, but I thought it was a poor decision on Trumps part. Bret was creative but he flew by the seat of his pants, the whole time, and then to get it on a sympathy vote I don't think was right. Even comparing charities, I thought hers was a stronger cause this time. Hers was to support families for treatments and his was to send kids to camp, also a great cause, but I felt stronger for Holly's.

I'm not so sure Brett won on sympathy. The final task was filmed last November, only the finale was live. During the final task the execs said Brett's commerical was far better than Holly's. The only negative they had was that his label was little dark. They also praised his presentation over Holly's, as did the those in attendance. He also won more tasks than Holly did, even though she did raise the most money. Brett also seemed to get along with everyone he worked with, whereas Holly did not.

I don't think Bret won on the sympathy vote anymore than Holly would have won on the sexy dress vote (and with Trump that would have counted, I can't stand him)
I believe Bret did the better job overall and is certainly the nicer person.
Everytime they mentioned Hollys record breaking money raising I thought, didn't Sharon raise over 100,000 of that and it was given to Holly as the winner? Do I remember that wrong? Where was Sharon last night?

I went and looked it up and it was on the 24 Hour Fitness challenge...Sharons team raised over 106,000 and the 24 hour ex's liked her routine the best and gave them an additional 24,000 more for more than 130,000. Holly raised 221,000 was the winner and Trump gave her Sharons fund raising/winnings also to total 352,000 plus. No one was fired as they both did a great job.Point being Holly did not raise all that money....Trump gave 130,000+ of it to her.

Even though Brett went to school with my kids and I used to drop my daughter off at their house to play with his sister, I didn't know Brett. His name was Sychak then. He seems like a real nice caring guy, and I hope he makes a full recovery.

I went back and watched the rest of the show. I think Bret deserved to win even without a sympathy vote. His diet drink is entirely marketable and he just helped to attract attention to Snapple for diabetics which would help increase market share and also create a niche in a tough market. Trump made a big issue of it being a diet drink and not tasting as good, but more and more people are starting to pay attention to what they put in their bodies. Holly's drink is just another drink out there with a lot of competition. It has passion berry..so what. If I buy it today will it be there three months from now or will it be replaced by the competition. Bret's drink may have another a different flaver in six weeks, but if diabetics know they trust Snapple to produce more diabetic drinks, they may be returning customers.

Without tasting the drinks, based on what we saw on tv, I think Bret was Snapple's favorite.
