Brothers and Sisters show cancelled.

This breaks my heart. I love this show and look forward to it every Sunday nite.

It got cancelled and their bringing in a sitcom, and a remake of Charlie's Angels instead.

The science fiction show V also got cancelled. Hubby enjoyed it the first year, but we haven't watched it since. He really loves Fringe (also cancelled) but it was too weird for my tastes.

I just started watching it this week. Netflix has it, and I started with the first episode. I've watched three episodes so far, and like it a lot. I hope they have a good finale, and don't stop things abruptly.

I saw that about "Brothers and Sisters." What a shame. It's a really good show, though I think not quite as good now as it was, though I love Luc.

Didn't hear about "V". Too bad for that one, too - they were just getting into a new storyline, and I would like to have seen where it went.

steph_y, I'm probably one of the posters that has had some time pass since the major loss of a dear one - my 18yr old daughter. I too was faced with a court appearance, but thankfully I didn't have to go through that. The driver of the car was cited with 3 misdemeanor tickets and that was the end of that. I didn't originally begin any legal process, but not long after my daughter's accident, I was also involved in an accident. I was forced into appearing because it was a pretty dynamic event, and the person cited wanted all witnesses and victims to appear to testify. Of course I had to get an attorney. He advised me that I should "go after" the guy that caused my daughter's accident. I didn't want to, but he said that he could do it without me. I suspect thought that if the case had gone further, I would have been able to bring closure of some sort. I say this to say, gather the strength to do what you have to do. Mind you, if you really cannot, I'm sure there is a solution to that - maybe speak to the attorney, judge, etc. However, if you decide to do this, speak clearly and really explain all that you have told us in your post. Those feelings are the reason you have this opportunity - to let this person realize the impact and also possibly provide some influence towards a proper sentence. The laws didn't always allow victims like you, to have a voice. It's a tough act, I know. But share your thoughts, and if you have hard time, just call on your faith. You have a right to let everyone know the destruction caused by drunk drivers. Maybe, just maybe, as you face this head on, you may get some relief in expressing your thoughts where is can make a difference. I just found this forum, and I'm almost glad that I found it now, rather than before. It is difficult to sort things when the trauma is still fresh. I'm afraid that I the emotions would have caused me to dwell on the situation a lot more. That being said, please know that everyone here is in your corner and has some sense of your pain and suffering. We will be here for you - both on the forum and through private emails, if necessary. I know our prayers will include you too. As I said be strong, and as you carry out your court appearance, take us with you in your heart - we all will be more than happy to walk with you. By all means though, also have and keep faith - it does work. I cannot tell you how much faith, even as small as a mustard seed, will help carry you through this. Pray for the strength and courage to see this through - today, tomorrow and for always. Your prayers will be answered without question. Please let us know how things go. Even as the years go by, please keep the forum at hand - we'll still be here. BTW, I know your brother will be with you. in spirit I send my love, and a hug. gng

I love Brothers & Sisters. I've always been a big Sally Fields fan and I think she is great in this show! I thought that Sara had decided to marry him and that's why she stopped him from marrying out of convenience. Maybe the mention again of the 4 weeks was just to throw us off course so that we'd be sure and tune in to see what happens. I think maybe she is going to have a Walker wedding and the comment was that she only has 4 weeks to get that done. That's just my thoughts....nothing definitive.

I think Holly will return. I thought the aquifer at Narrow Lake was interesting. I kept thinking, if I were Saul, and I were 70-something and in good health, and presumably I'd had HIV for many years (he was with the carrier 20 years ago, right?), I don't know that I'd go on an HIV drug regimen. I thought Justin was nuts to think of leaving his brand-new wife to go to Haiti. There aren't people that need helping where he lives?

I love the show also and look forward to it each week. There really aren't many "good" shows left with all the reality stuff. I think it was great that "Kitty" found herself thinking about her dad and what he did to the family and how she was following that same path. It would be nice if the show could focus on them "trying" to work it out instead of the typical quick divorce they all do. I for one hope the show continues for a few more years...Sally Field is just wonderful. I also loved her in her ER guest appearances.

It hasn't been the same since Rob Lowe left, but I still enjoyed it immensely.
Have you seen him on the talk-show circuit promoting his new book? Funny how he doesn't even talk about Broth. and Sis, only about his earlier work--West Wing and before.

I never saw B & S. Though I have always loved Sally Field. And I did like "V" I'm a real science fiction fan.

This is one of my very favorite shows. I am so mad. Charlies Angels...Really? I won't watch it.

I enjoy Brothers and Sisters even though I can't stand Nora (Sally Fields). The show has probably run it's course.

I'm so disappointed! This is one of the only shows I watch. I've lived it from the beginning. The writing and acting is so good. It still has a lot of life too. Plenty of room for growth. What a shame.

Why does it seem like the quality shows get dumped for stupid sit-coms? Is it money?

I guess the next to go will be Parenthood, Castle, and The Mentalist.

Fringe was picked up for season 4....not canceled.

Ooops, there was talk of cancelling Fringe. They obviously changed their mind. DH will be thrilled.

Like Danihoney, I love Castle and the Mentalist too! They had better not go.

Those who like America's Got Talent (we do!) it starts on May 31 after DWTS ends.

Loved Brothers and Sisters, thought they did an excellent job with the series finale though. I will miss it.

I will be SO disappointed if either Castle or The Mentalist are cancelled. I missed the final Castle because my DVR didn't work....hoping my DD still has it on her DVR.

We also enjoy Blue Bloods.

The Castle finale was gooood :)
The Mentalist 2 hour finale is tonight.

I love So You Think You Can Dance. Can't wait for that to come back next week.

Love Castle and the Mentalist so they will probably be cancelled too. The Mentalist was excellent tonight.

Having taped Castle and Mentalist and not watched either yet, it makes me wonder.

We were over at my step-father's last nite, and chatting and he asked me if I thought Castle would be back next year. That took me by surprise and I told him that we taped it. So he didn't elaborate, but said it's a heck of a finale.

So it had BETTER NOT be cancelled!!!

To get rid of good shows, to put in reality and crappy sitcoms just makes me boil.

Saw a mini segment of Ashton Kutcher with his other 2 co-stars. I don't know how that story line will unfold, and work.
Just from what I saw, I don't care for him. Don't rake me over the coals, just my first impression.
