Finland (Nokia is made there. I LOVE Nokia phones)

I don't have a smart phone. Finland sounds right; I hear a lot of good things about Nokia.

Dees, I thought I was the only one on the universe without a smart phone! Wow.

Nope...both me and my husband have old flip phones. We've had these for about 3 years but still had flip phones before. No texting either. He drives for a living so we block them at the source. Hefty fines for texting and driving. The use of our phones is pretty limited. He calls me when he's headed home in case I need something from the store. My son calls me on his way home to chat. That's about it.

My son lives on his smart phone.

I'll say India. After China, it has the largest emerging middle class.

I don't have a cell phone - flip or otherwise.

When I was at the hospital day of surgery, and at ER, I wanted my phone on. They actually wanted it while hubby was in surgery so they could get hold of me quick.

Anyway, my flip phone wouldn't get any service, even though everyone was on their smart phones. That bothered me, and I'm thinking of looking to see if I can get one for pay as you go, which is still a monthly plan but relatively inexpensive, $15/mth (my current plan).
We use it very seldom and that's the cheapest monthly plan I've seen. If it doesn't get renewed every month, you lose all of the accumulated minutes.

I think that the proportion to population is rather surprising, but can't remember where the percentage of population proportion is getting up near the highest, either.
