You can begin using Milorganite your next fert application, when you overseed in this case. For overseeding, you just might want to suppliment phosphorus with a little steamed bone meal. Between now and mid-September. But, you want to overseed the whole lawn and not just the infected areas. I, for one, prefer Milorganite except for the last app of the year. For that winterizing application, Scott's (or other) Winterizer, which contains high content of potassium. Two things to remember about grass plants and postassium are: 1) no more can be absorbed than is necessary and 2) potassium is easily leached. That means you may or may not trust that one application to be enough and you really never know without a soil test. Natural supplements of potassium are sulphate of potash and greensand. Yes, it is wise to keep the dogs off as you are accustomed to doing. The reason is Milorganite, while organic, does contain arguable levels of heavy metals. Whether they are harmful levels is also debatable and has been the subject of many debates here on the forum. I never knew which side won LOL. There is lots of information available if you want to google the subject and compare the data with what is considered acceptable (google that too). Then, stay tuned to this thread. Since you've broached the subject, I've no doubt we are in for an interesting ride. Should be a good refresher course for me :) Just in case you feel a little intimidated where feeds/grains (alfalfa, soybean meal, feather meal, etc.) are concerned, you might be able to find some here.

I have no experience laying out kitchens (just in planning stage for my re-do) but I would move the stove/cooktop to the opposite wall. That would give you a stretch of counter near the sink for prep (also wouldn't have to move sink). I also think having the cooking area on the opposite wall (probably middle of counter area) would give you some room to assemble ingredients and de-congest the other wall. HTH

Thank you for the reply! I have contacted the local municipality and they stated they never put the berm up, so they want nothing to do with it. As for cleanup down stream, they just ignored it and moved on. Also yes they have approved construction here, while there are no permits required, I had a surveyor come out to check the site, due to overhead power lines.
