We have the WZ Mizu in Wasabi in our bathroom, and it is gorgeous tile. I will say, though, that the Mizu has a lot of color variation so you want to make sure it goes well with your soapstone. While the Mizu come in soft colors, they're not really a "fade into the background" sort of tile.

Fresh starts can be very exhilarating. I speak from experience. At 42, my whole world burned down and I started from scratch, and it all turned out really, really well. :D Hope you have all the happiness in the world.
