I am thinking of turning some sweatshirts to jackets

and just playing around with fabric and trim ideas?

I think the colors match ok, but with them both being largish prints I think they would be too busy/jumbled looking together.

I'd have to see the finished product though to render a complete opinion. And of course, by then, you would have already made it...

Oh, you could do so many things. If it's not exposed to harsh, drying conditions, you could do azaleas, which are beautiful both in bloom and out of bloom. I would do roses, I think, if you have the sunlight. Fragrant roses that bloom nearly all season. They require some effort on your part, but seeing their beauty and catching the heady scent of fragrant rose blossoms as you walk in the door is a joy. And those pots aren't too big for them. I think they work together. I had to look a second time, so perhaps the location in your home will sway one way or the other, but it would be a nice tough to change one set of sleeves so they are both ivory or white. I feel compelled to let you know that tibbrix will not approve of the bronze 4-light. And that Hubbardton Forge fixture is probably available in a complimentary finish. ;-)

I like your last two. It’s really just personal preference — I don’t like the one in your OP because it looks like they started building the light, then at the last minute couldn’t find the style of shades/bulbs called for and tacked some on they got from a different chandelier. These last two fit your room well, I think. Out of them, I like the last one best. But again, it can only be your choice! We don’t live there. :)

My honest opinion, these two together do not appeal to me, sorry. The first looks very pink, and seems to clash with the orangey reds in the second ... maybe it's my monitor.
