Advice on Neighborhood Children

Fun2BHere

I could use some advice when dealing with a group of children (ages 8 - 12) in my neighborhood. They don't live on my street, but for some reason always play on my street. They write with chalk all over the sidewalk, leave their toys in my driveway and today, they were climbing in my raised beds. In the past, I have said nothing, but today I went out and told them to please leave my yard which they did. I don't know their parents and don't even know exactly which house they live in except I know that it's on the next street over.

I get so frustrated. It took me an hour of scrubbing to get all of the chalk off of the driveway and sidewalk after last weekend. My yard uses a drip system, so if they walk in the beds, it breaks or buries the drip nozzles. Plus, there's the liability issue if one of them gets hurt while on my property. What do you think I should do?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
