First, welcome to the Super White Club. It is gorgeous. Where is the bs going? It seems that you have mostly windows. Are you talking about the part under the window, and behind the range? Or is there more that we don't see? Personally, I like a ss sheet behind the range up to the hood, and some sort of white tile in an interesting shape. Hmmm, you know, like arabesques....lol. Well, you know I was going to say that. Have you thought about just getting more SW run vertically and and having that be your bs?

I think you made very nice choices in the end. I like the backsplash you picked, because as others posted about the glass.... it brings down the quality of the kitchen..... The flooring...I think it will work out fine. We are having the same problem. I actually like the wider plank but either would work. I do like the color you choose and it was my first choice....then it would have been a brown picked up in your original flooring. I hope you post pics when you are finished! Oh just as an afterthought....did anyone suggest you do the backsplash in the same countertop granite? That might have worked also, but it's a different look and maybe an outdated look also?....I think you chose a good product...bet it's gorgeous! Best wishes on it's completion!!!

Pugrolls - I don't have that much to share because we have only been using it for a month. I figured I would write to bump up your question. I think I am boring myself with talk about my quartzite - called super white by the distributor and supreme white by the fab shop. It seems very durable. I have had no staining or etching. I babied it for a few weeks, and still am careful (try to wipe up) with red wine, berries & tomatoes, but we (my hubby and two kids under 8) do not keep the most pristine kitchen. It has been our main table since we moved in, as well as used for cooking prep (our dining room table seems to be the staging area for junk we unpack and can't figure out what to do with :) Honed is a great look, though I loved it polished as well at the fabricator. I find with the honed I cannot tell when it is dirty. I have to run my hands along to feel the mess :) For me that is one of the best recommendations... I hope someone with more experience can share more.

Maybe it's just me, romy. That first image is very very busy, the second is not that bad, the third is a mismatch, as is the fourth, but the quartzite and bs don't abut, so it's not that bad. The fifth image is pretty because you basically see the herringbone tile, not the stone, sixth image, eh..., seventh, again, very busy, but in truth, the color matches aren't bad, if you have the right slab. Super White can be a brownish grey. Definitely wait to have it installed before chosing a bs.
