Gray or Beige?

Recently I took delivery of my new upholstered bed (you can see it in the thread "Don't like the color of my new bed"). My walls are currently painted in SW Quietude, but that blue color pulls too much of the faint peach tone in the sandy colored fabric on the new bed. Therefore, I need a change. I have drapes in a duck egg blue linen from Pottery Barn, and I would like to find a coverlet or quilt in a matching color for the bedding. So, I have decided to go neutral on the walls with accents in white and duck egg and I also have some art with yellow and turquoise/blue as the predominate colors.

Should I go with a creamy beige to match the bed itself? Something like BM Natural Cream or Dunmore Cream, or should I go with something gray like Revere Pewter? I am very intrigued by the gray trend and I have been dying to try it out, but I don't know if this bedroom is the right place to go. I will post pics of the bed with the new drapes after work.

So basically the choice is between:

1) creamy beige, yellow, duck egg and white

or

2) gray, yellow, duck egg and white
