Salt water pools and wild animals

I have a 60 foot long one yr. old salt water pool. I live in Phoenix, in an area of town surrounded by desert and washes. My pool is fenced in, so bigger animals cant get to it, but I am worried about the birds and smaller animals. I have seen swallows get water out of the pool on the fly. Tonight, I saw lots of bats doing the same. When I see a dove drinking from the pool, I run outside or do what I can to scare it away. Is the saltwater bad for the animals? I am hoping someone will tell me that the salt is not at a high enough concentration to cause problems for the wild animals. I do provide a fresh water source and many of the animals drink from this, but obviously some are not. Thanks!
