I tried posting this to post about"What are you into". I could not figure out how to get my picture in. Well here it is= I am into Mckenzie Childs. Better late then never. LOL! Why it worked this time I will never know!

I'm into reading Michael Lee West's book "Crazy Ladies", and it is so good. She is hollygolightly on here, does anyone know her or remember her?

HAHAHAHA!!!That Random Clown is Lucy on Halloween night!!! She brought the Grands over for a visit!!! We all laughed so hard and had such a wonderful time... Hubby loved rope duty!!! And the fishing was Great.. It was all I could do to get him to come home... ;0) I was willing to stand in the drive and wave BYE..LOL see ya next weekend...LOLOLOL j/k BUT we did have a Blast! Thanks for your sweet comments. It was so efficient. I hope the next one is too. I put in trash pull out, lazy susans, pull out by the stove, almost all drawers, disposals in both sinks, mixer lift etc. all because of what I learned here. My husband finally asked me to quit coming to the site because it cost him money every time I did! Of course, I didn't, and I think he was even prouder of it than I was. I'm finding the practice I had on the first one is very beneficial--not so scary this time. It will be similar, still a Craftsman inspired house, but not the same since our other plan would not fit on our lot. I'm getting to have a butler's pantry which is exciting. Think I'm going to use honed Indian black granite for the countertops. Maybe marble subway backsplash. We never put in a backsplash in the other one because we really didn't need it. rjr220 that is exactly what we used, xenon pucks.

Beautiful cabinets, pendant lights, love the blue painted wall! What is the paint and color blue is the wall? Counters compliment the cabinets, what are the counters? Bet you really like your faucet! Nice tall pantry cabinet next to the table! Congratulations, now you can really enjoy your new kitchen! Wish we were finished, our kitchen is in the gutted stage - still trying to select a turquoise blue for the cabinets so they can be built!!

I'm friends with Michael Lee. We met here and began emailing - a lot. She is such a sweet person. Demifloyd and I met in Nashville to shop and spent a day with MLee shopping, had lunch, then went to see her lovely home and farm animals.

She has a blog now, if you haven't seen/read it. She's been busy writing another book, blogging, decorating (as usual) and tending to her herd.

You know it's a good book when it keeps you up until the wee hours.

I really like your MC teapot and cutting board (?). Many of their pieces are over the top, and the stores - although interesting - are claustrophobic for me. But a piece here and there is nice in a home. I like the black checkerboard against the wall cabinet stain/color.
