I used read in bed, now I watch movies. I have over 200 movies and I like to watch them over and over.

That's where I do most of my reading....even if I wake up during the night, I might reach for a book.

I read every night before bed. I've always loved to read!

I used to read before bed every night, but I had to stop that practice. When I'm reading a book that I am enjoying, I don't want to put it down. I'm up too late as it is, and I've been known to stay up all night reading a book until the end. So, now I either knit for a while before bed, or do genealogy research online.

Nothing here either Glenda. But, I have a plan B. ;)

Go to Judy's house down the street, the one I set up with email last Tulsa trip, and help her some more.

My TV here is a tiny portable, with no cable access, and thus only 3 channels.

Oh well, only two more nights and I will be back home.

I'm like one of those dolls from the 50's - if I lie down my eyes shut automatically. I have to be sitting up to read.

I used to read in bed a lot, but it hurts my back to do so now, so I gave that up.

I've only read a couple of books in my lifetime that kept me from sleeping because I enjoyed them so much.

Now, if I try to read in bed, I fall asleep before I can read much, or I can't focus on the story.

I rented several movies today to keep me entertained. Just finished Frozen River and Elegy...loved them both even though neither are 'feel good' movies. Sometimes I need depth. lol

I'll watch Amazing Race and then I'll read sitting up. My husband is such a light sleeper that I can't read in bed or he'd be awake all night.

I always read before I go to sleep so if nothing good is on TV, I got to bed early so I can read longer.

I always have something to read. I sleep best with the tv on , though. Last night I was doing genealogy on line and got so interested I couldn't get to sleep. Then I realized I was cold, so I put on more warm things and went to sleep.

I don't feel like reading so here I am. My tv isn't working since our wiring seems to be shot going to our satellite, nothing to do at all, and DH has been in a bad mood all day.

I always read before I go to sleep...And there's nothing on our TV, really nothing...Our DGS had been watching a disc, he fell asleep on the couch and DH and I have no idea how to work the darn thing and in taking the disc out, I must have pushed too many buttons and now we have nothing...Even DGS has no idea what we did....I am so tired of all the buttons and gadgets you have to push to watch the VCR or whatever, I'm ready to toss the whole thing....I'll probably have to call Comcast....
So here is it 9:10 and I'm going to bed, with my book.....

I can't stay awake long enough to read...and usually can't stay awak to watch tv. If I lay down, within a couple of minutes, I am asleep, unless I am really cold. I went to bed late a few nights ago and couldn't go to sleep because my legs were so cold. I should have gotten up and put on sweat pants.
I didn't fall asleep until 4:30 a.m. and I was wrapped up in the blankets like an enchilada.

My dad used to go to bed to read, mother always fell asleep on sofa.
So when dad finished reading, somehow, he would call her on the phone (that was when we had dial) and say "Wake up Mildred, it's time to come to bed" :o)

Every nite, Glenda. Usually wake up with book on chest and reading glasses and light still on.

I use to read a lot but my downfall was that if it was something really interesting I couldn't put it down until I finished it.Hard to get anything done that way.Kinda like the computer now.LOL For some reason I just can't stay focused on a book anymore.Maybe cause I'm getting old.I never was able to read in bed.Could never get comfortable.I always read in the recliner.

Yucky TV! I opened a bottle of wine and I trying to get sleepy. It has been ages since I've had wine. It gives me bad breath. LOL!

I guess if I was more active and did more in a day I would be tired and sleepy by now.

I had a gin and tonic, and I'm up eating reheated navy beans, grrrrrr!

Tried to read new book in bed the other night - too chilly to keep arms out from under covers.

Usually when I try, have trouble keeping eyes open.
