Do not use TWP 500 on ipe

I could not get TWP 116 in California, so I used TWP 501 (cedartone). Don't do it. It looked great for a while, but never penetrated, and water would just move the stain out of the way if it sat for just a while, even after 1-2 months of dry time. Originally, I thought I just needed more, so I put a second coat after a week. No help.

I decided to RAD the thing, but first I used a garden hose with a pressure nozzle to see how much the stain would just leave on it's own. The first picture is garden hose only, the second is after restore-a-deck. The stain was no match for either. But, the RAD cleaned every stain, and the deck looks cleanly sanded.

I'll report back on how the Woodzotic does.
